Why should it be hard for Muslims to consider the idea that God could put Himself in the body of Jesus fully or that God loves us like a father loves his children? Is there a greater love? Why should it be hard for Muslims to consider the idea that God could put Himself in the body of Jesus fully or that God loves us like a father loves his children? Is there a greater love? We don't know of any greater love than the love of a father who would lay down his life for his children. God did this for us, taking on a body and suffering for us. If Muslims could see this, they could turn to God in love, repent of their sinful ways, be baptized in Jesus' name and receive His Spirit.

This is just one example of Hebrew prophets who spoke about one coming Who would do things and be called things only befitting God. He would have power to heal, to forgive sins, to save. If Jesus Spirit wasn't the one God of the Old Testament, then of course the claim that Jesus is God would be false. The New Testament routinely refers to Jesus' Spirit as the Holy Ghost, the Spirit of the Lord, God Almighty. God is a Spirit. He is Holy. That's why He is called the Holy Spirit.

jhall38. The pre-Islamic Arabs were pagans, but Mohammad (PBUH) converted them into Monotheist over period of 23 years. There is no other Prophet or Messenger in History that could accomplish the task. Jews gave hard time to Moses, Jesus and Prophets in between. Moses could not complete task. Jesus could not complete the Task. Mohammad did.

jhall38. Mr Shoebut is but joker, I have listen to better Christian Scholars debating the Muslim Scholars and saw the Muslim scholars rip Christian scholars apart verse by verse of the Bible. Have ur Shoebut debate Dr Zakir Naik or his little students. Or Shabbir Alley from Canada. Or Abdul Raheem Greene from Australia. Or Dr Jerald Dirks from U S., Usuf Estes from U S, Khalid Yasin from U S. These are all learned Christian Scholars turned Muslim but Zakir who was born Muslim.

@kohitur Why would anyone want to challenge Muslims, telling them their god is a demon of the kaabah, partner of 359 demons, especially when Muslims are so threatening, telling people they'll kill them if they speak against Islam? Why should anyone try to change Muslim minds? Why don't they just leave you alone and let you go to hell with allah and his false prophet? God of the bible orders the killing of innocent people even after the Ten Commandments said “Thou shall not kill”. For example, God kills 70,000 innocent people because David ordered a census of the people (1 Chronicles 21). God also orders the destruction of 60 cities so that the Israelites can live there.

@kohitur The commandment "Thou shalt not kill" was part of God's covenant with His people through Moses. The word used is "tirzah", murder. This does not outlaw other kinds of killing, in war, in capital punishment, in retribution, etc. Killing was not absolutely condemned until God's covenant with man through Jesus. Jesus is the One who commands us to put away our swords and to love our enemies. Thank God for his son Jesus the Messiah. Thank God for showing us a better way.

@kohitur God may do whatever He wants to do. He created us. He is the Potter; we are clay. Life & death are in His hands. If we choose to justify ourselves by LAW, God knows how to show us how AWFUL this is. Much death and killing will be required. This is why you Muslims embrace death and killing, because you justify yourselves by law. Justification by the LAW is harsh. Sinners must be punished and/or killed. The Old Testament, under the law, is a hard taskmaster, pointing to Christ.

@kohitur Concerning Judges 21, the scripture honestly reports what the tribe of Benjamin did. It does not cover up bad things. The Bible tells the truth and doesn't try to hide or sugar coat it like the Quran. The men of the tribe of Benjamin ambushed and captured women of Shiloh to get wives. Scripture does not say that God told them to do this. In fact, it says of the incident, "In those days there was no king in Israel; every man did that which was right in his own eyes." Judges 21:25

jhall38. God told them to hide alongside the road and when they saw a girl they liked, kidnap her and forcibly rape her and make her your wife! Just about every other page in the Old Testament has God killing somebody! In 2 Kings 10:18-27, God orders the murder of all the worshipers of a different god in their very own church! In total God kills 371,186 people directly and orders another 1,862,265 people murdered.

He invited the prophets of Baal to a special "sacrifice". The Baal worshipers remind me of Allah worshipers like Muhammed. They were sexual perverts having orgies on hilltops - reminds me of Muhammed's raping parties after his mass murders, when he told his men to rape the women). Life under the LAW is hard.

If you want Him to be your JUDGE and not your Friend & Father, you will be just another body thrown on the fiery heap in hell. Be careful He doesn't end your life sooner than you think! Fear God Who can destroy both soul and body in hell. The Old Testament, the first 39 books of the Bible show that God is Judge. You will be cast into hell if you don't repent. Life under the law is HARSH.
