I have a powerbook 3400c 32mb ram 240mhz cpu and it still beats my windows xp machine. it doesn't beat my linux box though :)

Not really...if you are talking about some components, yes, but most PC users who know what they are building choose the 'CM HAF 932 Case' which is 100% steel. Eat that!
