A Nazgul is not a Lich. A Lich is the animated remains of a powerful Wizard that still holds great power. A Nazgul is a wraith..an imaterial being...as Gandalf says...Cruel Shadows under Sauron's great shadow. Their form..according to Tolkein was maintained by their cloaks....they had no forms of their own..and after the ford of the Brunien...they were sent back to Sauron to get new forms to wear and new mounts to ride.
@ThePendrag0n If you are going by the D&D definition, yes. But "lich" can be used to refer to any undead sorcerer and before D&D had been used as a cover-all term for undead in general. The Nazgul were undead, and possessed sorcerous powers, so it's understandable they are sometimes referred to as liches. The still had forms, but they were invisible to mortals except those wearing a ring, so all they got from Sauron were new cloaks and the Fell Beasts.

he was killed by a woman but a high level woman and remember the so called tough guys would not even hve a chance, even if you hit him your weapon would disintergrate, bye bye +30 sword :(
Should this game be identical with the movies? No, Turbine is creating Middle Earth on it's own way. P.Jacksons movies were created as Jackson wanted to. They both are made about world created by J.R.R Tolkien. And of course, the LOTR movies and the LOTRO game have nothing to do with eachother.

A raid of 25 struggeling people was needed to take down the strongest person in the trilogy. In an epic battle upon his very throne. The Witch King was killed by a hobbit and a woman... enough said.

@MetusSatan no this is 100% right. other games use the spread of evil in eriador. in ea's games its called the war in the north (fighting against orcs/corsairs/goblins), but codemasters version shows their idea. this actually does fit very well with the films. If you were to defeat the witch-king (even though you only get to fight the 'false king') he is sent back to barad-dur or minas morgul, as does one of the nazgul earlier in this story

It's interesting that he never actually is your nemesis... Your "nemesis" is Mordirith, then Amarthiel, then Mordirith again. The Witch-king is only your nemesis in a much larger sense, because these two are his greatest (non Ringwraith) minions.
