@CrazyGameCollector or maybe everything is completely random and that your God who you think is a being of great good really doesn't care because of everything that is wrong in the world
This is what is known as the perfect ending. People think that he's going to come back to life, but need to realize that he can't and he's going to a better place.
i love this movie i like how they show the devil just shadows and heaven the people walking into the light i always cry in the scene patrick swayzee did good in this film rip
Every time I watch this movie, I end up crying like a baby. Some of the movie is a little cheesy, but the overall sentiment is beautiful and meaningful. " It's amazing, the love you feel inside..you take it with you" pretty much sums up the emotional impact of this film. Love is eternal, believe that..
@IrwingRJ Unchained melody- The Righteous Brothers (musical version) but you won't have as exactly as it is because they cut it and saved it on continuous loop for 4 mins.
well i just hysterically cryed, said goodbye to my girlfriend tonight, wish her all the best in the world, she was an awesome girl :-) so sad to know she still loved me 2 xxxx
My personal view, which I don't consider to be incompatible with my Catholicism, is that if the human race survives long enough God will reveal to us the knowlege to achieve a utopian age where all things will be possible and the dead will be raised to eternal life. Given infinity all else is possible. This is one of my wife's favorite movies. We've been married over 24 years. She may have cancer. She's got to do some tests.
Perhaps Heaven is not a place but a condition of being away from God (or goodness) and Hell is not a place but a condition of being sunk in the depths of sin, greed, selfishness, materialism, and ignorance. Perhaps, the prophets of old spoke in parables so that the people of those days could better understand... perhaps, it is time for a new paradigm to life and to religion.
@irajkhodadoost Personally, I think the generations of old used more of their brains than we do currently and therefore have a more reliable say over some of those parables. Hell is, by Biblican definition, complete separation from God; so your connection between conditions on earth and that definition are understandable. Not to be rude or argumentitive here on a beautiful movie scene, but your comment got me thinking and I just respectfully disagree. I think some truths outlast human existance.
Just trying to understand you better... I am also saying that hell is a condition of being away from God or source of goodness and heaven is being close to that source... and so w traverse for years or for generations until we get close to that source of light. So what is it that you disagree with me about?
@irajkhodadoost :) I disagree on the theory that heaven and hell are alone states of being; rather I do stand by the idea that they are spiritual/physical places. The dimensions of space are too vast for me not to think they exist outside the realm we live in or the states of mind we come to.
Our politics, religions, and sports have become such that some revel in dichotomies and disagreements. No one knows the nature of God and afterlife. Obviously, our bodies disintegrate and those who follow a religious path believe in some form of afterlife, and as the body disappears, it has to have a spiritual form, and heaven and hell rather than being physical places seem to be states of being close to God or away from God based on some religious interpretations. That is all!
@irajkhodadoost Energy can neither be created nor destroyed, so obviously there is some state of new being after death---because energy merely changes form. I believe in the existance of a spirit, so why not another realm as well? The universe is held together by things we cannot see--and sometimes, cannot prove. I'm not going to knock anyone else's ideas on what the afterlife might be like, but I believe what I believe--just as you do. Though you sound a tad bit more upset by said differences?
Let me try once more: "energy merely changes form"; of course, "I believe in the existence of spirit"; "Why not in another realm","the universe is held by things we cannot see" what did I say differently?; "sometimes cannot prove"; there are many thoughts still unproven in the form of hypothesis or even theories. The problem is that some people just spit out what is on their mind, misconstrue something and never learn to listen. Do you ever listen to your other family members?
lmao, just checked your profile, if you're a goody two shoes religious nut case then I'm truly santa clause. Nice try though, seriously the comment you made was hilarious. But the one before it sounded like you where having a self-righteous moment
You're right, I know, but I was having one of those days where I was in the mood for an argument with one. Like when those Jehovah's Witnesses knock on your door and you tell them you didn't see nothing so you can't bear testimony to their cause just to confuse them :P But I quickly realized what's the point? they do believe in their bullshit too much :P It is fun to wind them up though :D
Bad people die young too? And it isn't because they have fulfilled anything, it's because like good people, that's just the way life is. God, in my opinion, is santa clause for grown ups. He exists only in your mind.
I sometimes stick this movie on with some chocolates and wine when my girlfriend has the painters in as it stops here nagging at me for at least 2 hours :) ( Always thinking ahead I am :P )

Five stars,Patrick Swayze's role as Sam Pete topped number 1 charts when this movie was released...Rest In Peace Patrick Swayze, and may god bless your soul...We all love and miss you man.
It is kinda strange that he was on this and now he is gone, I hope he got that kind of escort to Heaven or Paradise. He was a great guy and I am glad his suffering is over.
Amazing scene and movie. We lost Patrick Swayze way too soon. God he was awesome. We can only hope this is what happens when the end comes for all of us.
It's so special that she got to see hiim one last time, but if it was me it would start the hurt all over again. It's special that he got to really say goodbye but that they would

@YD8189 I completely agree. I mean the track the film makers used fits the scene perfectly! I also do not understand the whole point of putting those other songs in it's place.

I LOVE this movie! I use to watch it when I was a kid and now that I'm older I cry so much. This is a classic and Patrick Swayze was great as usual, R.I.P.
I love Patrick Swayze, not only was he a part of some wonderful, classic movies like Ghost, but his performances always had a lot of heart, passion and gentleness to them.
May he always rest in peace. I'm sure he's in a much better place.
I mean it... every time I look at the movie or listen to the song, I cry. I let the tears flood me as they were sacred... it feels good. Patrick Swayze, you're on of the gods!
This part has even more meaning and it's more sad because Patrick really is gone. Without a doubt, we did lose a star, but the angels gained one in Heaven. (RIP Patrick Swayze)
I have seen this movie quite a lot times and everytime i see this scene i cry. and i remember when i saw this movie for the first time i was 11 and i cried a lot
