Sad part is that I can't see this gun being used for more than specialist reasons due to the apparent recoil...although it would be a slick little device. It's apparently firing subsonic which would work insanely well with a silencer, and the weight and size of these projectiles would deliver a shitload of energy downrange, even if on a rainbow trajectory.

I mean if it ejects out the bottom as opposed to the side it'd be annoying to get use to firing it with my right hand as opposed to my left, but I could see it being doable compared to the normal bullpup that's going to pelt you in the face with brass.

Indeed. You'd think in this day and age they'd make a few more bullpup designs that were friendly to southpaws. I mean I know we're a vast minority but there are a LOT of soldiers and southpaw fighters in UFC, which would make you think they'd make a few more lefty friendly guns...but aside from the PS90 (I think) and the Keltec RFB (confirmed), I don't know of any.

@IcabodCrane Steyr AUG is left/right convertible. FN F2000 (and FS2000) has forward extraction so it's ambidex w/o a convertible bolt or mirrored ejection ports. I prefer the AUG over the F2000, though. Never actually fired either but I've handled civvie versions of both and the FS2000 is just too squarish. Same with the PS90. It doesn't feel good against the cheek. Otherwise, the FS2000 feels almost organic. But I still prefer the AUG. Never was a big fan of folding foregrips, though.

I hear you as it comes to the PS90 being too square, and good to know there's a few good lefty friendly bullpups out there aside from the KelTec RFB I really like, particularly the target version with the long pipe...not going to score a great deal more velocity or even accuracy from it but the report and flash will be extremely low.

One thing that confuses me about the bullpup in the video though is that I can't see where it's ejecting.

It is a grenade launcher. It launches 20mm grenades at an arc. There are 20mm rifles though, but they are a lot bigger and use a different kind of 20mm rounds. Like 20x83.5mm or 20x110mm.

Look closely at the weapon the main merc badguy is holding right when he hits the mech in the back and it spits Wikus out hes clearly carrying a neopup. the NTW-20 is used earlier by a random merc.

It is more a grenade than a bullet and ways about 110grams compare to 9 - 15 grams for standard bullets. The standard 40mm grenades launchers problem is that you have to "lob" a round which make the distance from target an important factor. With a 20mm its a flatter trajectory and the ammo weighs less -so you can carry more. But the 40mm packs a bigger punch. Luckly you dont have to hit the target for effect.... a mere miss is still a hit with a grenade.

these rounds have a 5meter kill radius - (if my memory serves me correctly) - they also had to cut the casing size down for the new weapon (i suppose to releive the recoil) - the rounds used to be alot bigger - still looks awesome though!
