Dolphins as happy and smiley as they seem are wild animals who attack Great White sharks when in number and gang-rape within their own society. So don't just jump into the water thinking they could never harm you. Plus, for such dramatic video and background music, she was barely bitten and the dolphin nether bit hard or hanged on to her. So stop whining and even if you complained nothing would have happened for you, so don't act like a hero either
@ShahnamPersia I am never rude to people when I comment on their pages. I can only assume your parents never taught you any manners....or you never learned how to convey your opinion in an intelligent, constructive manner....
@essentialyoga I wasn't in a good mood yesterday and I knew one of my comments was abit bitter, I just coldn't figure out which video it was to come and re-write it when I became calm. However, re-reading the comment, it's barely rude, but only bit aggressive. My point still stands, dolphins same as any other animal are wild animals who need to be treated with respect, knowing they could get very defensive and threatened at any second.
@RenewThyself "Their intelligence matches if not exceeds that of a human's." WOW that's amazing, can you back that up as well with evidence? Cause as far as I'm aware that's a breakthrough in science, as if Dolphins intelligence exceeds human's, then perhaps Chimpanzee's are the ruler of us all! Oh wait, I think there was a documentary about it, called "planet of the apes"?
@Seyez721 No. But I didn't complain about it - my daughter was fine (just a little sad that the dolphin bit her). If I made a big deal of it - it would have made my daughter more upset. I think the dolphin was just playing with her and didn't mean her any harm. All that being said, I wouldn't go back.
I love dolphins. They are the coolest animals in the world, but you have to remember that they are still wild animals, unpredicatble and potentially dangerous.
I had a close encounter with a dolphin a couple weeks ago in the outer banks of North Carolina. I was surprised to get within a couple feet of one because they tend to be very shy in that area.
Watch " The Cove". It will change your mind about the whole idea of "swimming with dolphins". It's free online by the way. When you are done you can eleviate your guilt by making a donation. ;)
man, i was scared for that kids life, did you see how her arm was being pulled viciously and then left hanging on by a thread? i always knew dolphins were evil!
She looked like she was laughing to me? She didn't seem to be in any pain. It's like when my kitty bites me shes not really biting me shes just playing.
my previous comment stands...you find joy in a little girl's pain to prove your point...instead of finding a more constructive way of communicating your point....
@essentialyoga I just wish they bit everyone with more force. Dolphins are far too clever to be subjected to thickle humans treating them like simple minded animals.
@essentialyoga its not like i wanted her to die or be properly harmed.. tht was only a nibble.... these places are proper disgusting, dolphins are far too intelligent to be kept in enclosed pools like these. find and watch a documentry called "the cove", seaworld, disneyland and anything relating to such parks are pure evil. i dont wish harm on ur child or anyone elses, id just like everyone to see the truth being these disgusting places.

it wasnt that funny when it was you the dolphin was biting. It hurt and it was creepy and no it was not trying to make me play it was probably cuz i was petting her baby abd got all protective = )
@essentialyoga that was my strongest thought after seeing her reaction and the dolphins. while it did hurt, it let go when she resisted. sorta like when playing with a big dog, and they grab a forearm and tussle with it. i've played around dolphins too, and they can get a little....well like the one your daughter encountered.

@essentialyoga And my other point still stands too which as you pointed out, he/she was playing around and this was barely a bite.

Just curious did they do anything special for your family after the bite?
