To clarify my last post, if you, a person, become too high of a "risk", you get eliminated. Meaning your insurance company drops you. If you've ever had some major surgery, even with good insurance, you still pay a portion of your medical bills. And it usually is higher than you would expect.

Insurance is a a big part of the problem. They can deny insurance if a have u pre existing condition, they can deny payment on any service, and have yearly and lifetime caps. More ppl paying into the system will lower cost. Getting the insurance company out of the examination room will be a part of us getting better outcomes. If insurance companies didn't have on avg 30% overhead with cost increases of 7 to 10% annually maybe this wouldn't dragging the economy down they way it is.
