@TheRationalParadox I hope you don't think that I was expressing a hatred toward people based on their skin color or cultural differences...that's not at all what my videos are about. Your comment is 2 months old, sorry I just got around to it :/
Imagine that there are select places in this country that are "colorblind". I mean abnormally moreso than many places to where nobody even knows the difference between one another. Try Sacramento lol.
First, you're in the upper 20% of 'look's for your type.
Second, looks don't matter much as compared with health, hygiene, and the physiognomy effect of character/psychology over time.
Third, both Hollywood (the movie industry) and Madison Avenue (the advertising industry) have a Nordicism idolatry problem re looks ...and they project their perversity worldwide.
'To each his own' is a good nationalist saying, meaning people of different heritages and 'breeds' should appreciate their own traits.
The problem is not diversity. It's fear. Notice that regardless of what race, culture nation you look at, you have a huge %50/%50 split of ideals. I hate to admit that I've actually wondered some time in life if race had anything to do with IQ, but then I looked at all the white people and noticed that their are just as many dumb whites as blacks or asian, etc. Fear of differences are natural, but as humans we've been gifted by nature with the ability to reason past simpleton fears.
In 1905, the French psychologist Alfred Binet published the first modern intelligence test, the Binet-Simon intelligence scale. His principal goal was to identify students who needed special help in coping with the school curriculum. Along with his collaborator Theodore Simon, Binet published revisions of his intelligence scale in 1908 and 1911 the last appearing just before his untimely death. In 1912, the abbreviation of "intelligence quotient" or I.Q.,
@TheTruthcentric An Afrocentric loon, Great. There are plenty of threads on that bullshit the subject of this particular thread asks if Racism is a natural part of human behaviour, its got fuck all to do with who the ancient Egyptians were.
@TheTruthcentric You are being spurious. Keita merely makes the argument, there is absolutly no consensus amogst the scientific community in support his theory. Yes thats right I said theory since there are plenty of studies that conflict with his conculsions. For example DNA taken from acient remains from the Dakleh Oasis cemetery yielded many Euroasian DNA types and showed a consibrable increase in the amount of Sub Saharan DNA over the past 2000 years.
@magicmoonbeam2 What study are you referencing. Wikipedia is a rather vague citation. Which article? And I'm not speculating my statement is based on scientific evidence.
@TheTruthcentric I gave him the name of the article in question. Maybe he did confuse it but now that he knows that it is only a few pages long perhaps he can get to reading.
@MysticNinjaJay And again according to Wikipedia myDNA studies of modern Egyptians from the Gurna region near Thebes in sorthern Egypt revealed that Eurasians haplogroups represented 61% of the population with the remainder 39% being sub-Saharan in origin. Simple logic tells us that racial admixture increases over time it does not decrease, therefore the original population must have been even more Euroasian in the past.
press release from Princeton University Press announces that The Invention of Racism in Classical Antiquity, by Benjamin Isaac, will be coming out on March 29, 2006. Isaac is a professor of Ancient History at the University of Tel Aviv. The author claims that a close reading of the ancient texts, including Herodotus, Plato, and Aristotle, shows that there was a form of proto-racism in ancient Greece and Rome.
@TheTruthcentric Certainly but they looked more like other Europeans than some of the darker-skinned people the encountered. The point being that they associated kinship with language and culture rather than physical appearance.
The ancient Greeks valued cultural advancement. They identified their kin as being people who had the same language. They thought less of Northern Europeans who they considered to be primitive barbarians and more highly of Northeast African and Near Eastern people who had more advanced cultures at the time even though their fellow Europeans looked more like them than those people. They recognized differences in physical characteristics even labeling some groups by skin color but were not racist.
@MysticNinjaJay At the Children's Research Lab at the University of Texas; children as young as six months were found to judge others based on skin color. and in other studies of pre school children they found that children prefered to play with children that looked just like them.
There are also plenty of studies using different coloured dolls, same result. The only plausible explanation is heritable behaviour.......Natural.
@magicmoonbeam2 Can you provide specific sources for your comments? In what ways were 6 month olds judging people based on skin color? Young children can pick up racial biases from parents.
@MysticNinjaJay When Pharaoh Thutmose I conquered Nubia his scribe wrote this in the Hymn of Victory:
"He hath overthrown the chief of the Nubians, the black is helpless, defenseless in his grasp. He hath united the boundaries of his two sides, there is not a remnant among the curly-haired who can come attack him. There is not a single survivor among them. The Nubian "TROGLOYTES" fall by the sword and are thrust aside in their lands. Their foulness ect ect.
@magicmoonbeam2 Your quote comes from a translation by James Henry Breasted made in 1922. Breasted was known to inject racial commentary into his translation of ancient text. The word he translated to black is Nehesi as word used to describe Nubians which was akin to barbarian and is not a reference to skin color. The word translated into "curly-haired" was nebed which more accurately means plaited-haired in reference to the style of Nubian hair not its texture. Egyptians had no concept of race.
@magicmoonbeam2 It is worth noting that Egypt and Nubia were separate political identities. Egyptians had a strong military and were constantly at war with their neighbors. It is not surprising that they would use harsh language for their enemies but that doesn't mean that their conflicts were racial in nature. Many modern Egyptologists such as Frank Yurco recognize the fact that Ancient Egyptians and Nubians were very similar culturally and biologically.
@MysticNinjaJay Article! You got to be kidding, its about 50 pages of text. I am not reading through all that. I have much better things to do with my time.
@magicmoonbeam2 Not in the modern sense that we use it. Kinship in the Egyptian world view was based on nationality and religion. All ancient cultures were ethnocentric to a degree but racism explicitly implies discrimination based on heritable physical traits which shape ones identity. Egyptians, Greeks, Romans they all saw the physical differences everyone can see with their own eyes but it was rare that anyone in those times applied social importance to them.
If racism were a natural instinct we would see evidence of racial thinking throughout history. People would have a tendency to associate what we commonly call race with kinship. Yet we know that people with similar phenotypes have not always identified with one another even though they may have lived in a region where they regularly encountered people of diverse phenotypes allowing to the development of racial thinking. Such was the case during the Greco-Roman period.
I agree with the overall message that it's horrible to insult people for things they cannot change about themselves. But your statement that racism is inherent and has an evolutionary origin is an opinion that has not been proven by anyone to be a scientific fact. Tribalism is only one aspect of the complex nature of humans Altruism is another. What aspects of nature you embrace is a choice because the human mind is capable of creative and rational thinking.
I disagree that racism is natural. It is completly unatural to me and seems to originate from religion. it's 2011 and there is still old fasioned racism in a way. now there are even people who are like racist when there not and just act racist to piss off racsist's people as well as other people witch all that does is contribute to the problem and will just make things worse

The word racist is used incorrectly way too often. People need to recognize that it is dishonest, and ridiculous to say that humans do not acknowledge different appearances. The correct word that needs to be used to describe someones reaction towards to these appearances is prejudice. To prejudge someone based upon their appearance. This mind fuck we are know experiencing known as "racism", is born out of the idea of "equality", which is nonsense in itself. We are not all naturally equal.
Being a joo isnt a religious choice, it is genetic. The jooish people themselves are celebrating the fact that they are able to identify their people genetically. It is perfectly natural for you to denounce a god, because joos and modern judaism is based upon "survival" rather than theology. The idea of being "chosen ones and such is just a suggestive tactic projected to achieve survival/dominance. No one can deny the profound effect the Judea/Christian bible has had towards this agenda.
@JermaniaUSA Jews aren't a race. The vast majority of Jews don't think they're a race. Certainly something to be said for Judaism as a group evolutionary strategy. One that increasingly seems to conflict with most Jews' aspirations.
It appears Jewish myopia and self-aggrandizement may have played a significant role in getting us into this mess. As a realist, perhaps only an at least equal contribution of Jewish brains and savvy is likely to extricate us from it.
If you don't want to get insulted, don't put videos on the internet. The internet is not your personal playground, it's a public place. Everyone can see your youtube videos and everyone is entitled to have an opinion on them and on the person posting. If you can't handle that, don't post videos of yourself online.
@TheAnarchanon Yeah I think you missed my point. Did you not hear me say that I don't care what people say about me and that I think it's flattering? If nothing else, funny. The topic was racism, not my looks or an inability to deal with insults.
I get that, but my point remains the same: if you post something on the internet, be prepared to deal with comments by people racist or otherwise. If I feel like calling someone a Jew or a nigga i will, because that's how it works.
@TheAnarchanon I'm not new to the intrawebs, I realize that putting myself on the internet is like asking for insults. It's nothing new. It happens. I'm not advocating forced kindness or silencing of opinions either. Just saying that certain things aren't worth the insult if they can't be changed.
I understand what you mean, but insults are not meant to be positive criticism, they are not meant to help people improve themselves. They are meant to be insulting and what better way to insult someone than by addressing features of that person which can't be changed? It something that either doesn't affect them or does affect them and will remain in the back of their head for quite some time. And if you do something, you better do it good, even insulting
i dont judge people on their appearance,i judge them on their intelligence, their personality.if someone is stupid or being stupid, ill tell him.i hate dumb people.
@TheRationalParadox Right? I used looks as an example, and people are like "OHMYGAWD DON'T CUT YOUR WRISTS YOU'RE PURDY" and it's ok, I like them, and I've had a few "your fugly" comments to balance it out. But very little discussion on the subject matter, lol.
@HeyRuka i have a theory, i get this a lot, when i get the upper hand in an argument with someone they start to insult me, or bring my mother, and then they call me a pedophile or crap, some are downright obsessed it is creepy, it is just people are so childish, that they like to tear others down because their life sucks, and they want others to feel their pain, so that is it, they think they will make themselves feel better by making others feel like crap, you just have to shrug it off
I wouldn't say you, HeyRuka, are ugly but you're not the prettiest girl in the world. You have a unique sexiness about you -- on top of that, you are Jewish! I wouldn't have a problem with dating you.
@LazCraze Oh, I'm definitely not the prettiest girl in the world...she went to my high school. Her name is Dani, she was a year behind me. Little Mormon girl Dani. Those Mormons have beautiful children. Just an observation.
A unique sexiness? Lol god...define unique? Is it my quirky style? I'm so swag. Shwaaaaaag.
@HeyRuka Awkward for some perhaps....but those people are no fun :D lol Also, nah you need to talk some, your voice is too nice to let it go to waste :)
@TheEpicureanAtheist Snarling and talking, there's a happy balance. And no worries, I'll never stop talking :) Just sort of a habit...but it only happens when I don't think.
It's weird though, because in your mini-rant you make it sound like all opinions count. Like somebody who thinks X is whatever, is somehow right about it, despite it being an entirely subjective thing.
I think you're gorgeous. So said as much. The guy after me might think you're ugly, and say as much. The guy after us might be insane and think there are hidden messages in your vlogs.
Take the opinions you like and agree with.
The interwebs, putting yourself out there. Ignore the asshats! lol {=D
@Laughingblades Why does rape always end up in the discussion forum of my videos? What is it with rape and the Tubes? Maybe I should make a rape video. Not a rape video in the literal sense, but a discussion on rape.
Hey its alright to comment about someone looking nice in a non sexual way its just sharing positivity and love :) I wonder someone can control something does that change anything in the justification, just a thought. Its a good thing beauty isn't a fact its an opinion, ah I just can't understand how someone would get anything back from being nasty
The problem is we'd still be different and not perfect. Cause if everyone is "perfect" then everyone is average. That means the first person to change their appearance to a different but cosmetically pleasing way. They'd be the beautiful ones. It's like the women in countries that where neck extenders. People would still be different colours, have different opinions. Racism exists only because people pick up on differences. It bothers them. It always will be can't change, no matter if we could.
This is sort of redundant. People have always insulted and bullied each other since the dawn of humanity. They do it because they lack empathy, have insecurities, and to unleash pent up rage from other incidents in their lives. I don't think it 'right' or 'wrong', it just is. We've all attacked someone in our lives at some point. I think more than anything it displays a problem in the antagonists life and the need to distract themselves.
@TheLaughingOut A race is any breeding group made distinctive by one or more phenotypical traits. Hence, aliens can be a "race", humans as a species can be a "race", subspecies of humans can be a "race" and lower divisions of humans can be a "race".
For example the Kalenjin of Africa consistently demonstrate thousands of times more success in long distance running than is predictable and I will gladly take a money bet by any anti-racist on it who is true their principle.
@TheLaughingOut Sources are provided. It's a long series try checking it out. If you are don't want to then let's discuss Sarich's book. The guy revolutionised dating of humans using the molecular clock. He's a good start and quoted by MrHerrIQ. I can go into many more in detail if you wish to discuss detail.
@MarkMuses He provides no sources in the form of links. Of course I did not watch the entire series, that would take all day, but I checked their description boxes and found not a single link.
I'm not really looking to discuss this unless you can give me something credible to read like a journal from pubmed or something, even an article from a science website would be worth looking into. But a lengthy comment discussion with no evidence is pointless.
I tend to agree that racism is largely genetic; it is a form of tribalism.
Tribalism has a beautiful side - cooperation
and an ugly side - racism.
But I also tend to think that humans have evolved in such a manner that (if properly planned) we can get away from much of the "dog-eat-dog" things we see in the rest of nature.
Where is Ruka parked? It looks like some vantage point above the beach where teenagers go to make out. Except Ruka goes there alone to listen to Harry Potter and record Youtube videos.
beauty is in the eye of the beholder. one person's gorgeous is another person's minger. there's no right or wrong, just different perspectives. i take the perspective that everyone is beautiful in their own way :)
We can change the way we act, and that's the problem with racism. It's not natural to treat people with disrespect just because of their race any more than it's natural to post a comment on a person's appearance. Actions are based on decisions. Decisions are based on attitudes. Attitudes are voluntary things, not genetic.
The smart know that everyone knows nothing and thus we are all equally unknowing and thus no one knows if someone is attractive or not, and to point out others faults is pointing out your own faults.
We all have out opinions and attracted to different qualities, there is no perfect within multiple opinions,. The world is not black and white, but shades of grey. There is no right or wronge, good or evil.
I agree. While I am what some people would call a "racist" (although that word has become really synonymous with supremacist and does not describe my position hardly at all; after all, East Asians and Ashkenazis have traits that I would consider superior and desirable on average). I don't play the name calling game because I'm more interested in political policy and how to make life better for everyone (which is why I'm a nationalist). If diversity could do that I would support it, but it can't.
@TheEpicureanAtheist Where can one go to read more about how interesting you are? I wouldn't be surprised to find out that Hollywood is optioning the rights to make a movie about you.
@TheEpicureanAtheist Right. Tolerance, acceptance, desensitizing, all conditioned. And it doesn't work. Babies learn to identify relevant phenotype by their first year. I'm also a racist and a nationalist in the same sense, but not a supremacist. I wouldn't go as far as genocide. Also, I like your vids (:
@TheRationalParadox I hope you don't think that I was expressing a hatred toward people based on their skin color or cultural differences...that's not at all what my videos are about. Your comment is 2 months old, sorry I just got around to it :/

If you don't want to get insulted, don't put videos on the internet. The internet is not your personal playground, it's a public place. Everyone can see your youtube videos and everyone is entitled to have an opinion on them and on the person posting. If you can't handle that, don't post videos of yourself online.
IT REALLY IS THAT SIMPLE!
TheAnarchanon 8 months ago
@TheAnarchanon Yeah I think you missed my point. Did you not hear me say that I don't care what people say about me and that I think it's flattering? If nothing else, funny. The topic was racism, not my looks or an inability to deal with insults.
HeyRuka 8 months ago
@HeyRuka
I get that, but my point remains the same: if you post something on the internet, be prepared to deal with comments by people racist or otherwise. If I feel like calling someone a Jew or a nigga i will, because that's how it works.
TheAnarchanon 8 months ago
@TheAnarchanon I'm not new to the intrawebs, I realize that putting myself on the internet is like asking for insults. It's nothing new. It happens. I'm not advocating forced kindness or silencing of opinions either. Just saying that certain things aren't worth the insult if they can't be changed.
HeyRuka 8 months ago
@HeyRuka

HeyRuka 8 months ago

LazCraze 8 months ago
@LazCraze Oh, I'm definitely not the prettiest girl in the world...she went to my high school. Her name is Dani, she was a year behind me. Little Mormon girl Dani. Those Mormons have beautiful children. Just an observation.
A unique sexiness? Lol god...define unique? Is it my quirky style? I'm so swag. Shwaaaaaag.

@TheEpicureanAtheist I knew it...I'll just make a new rage video and snarl the entire time. I talk too much anyway.
That wouldn't be awkward at all...would it?

@HeyRuka Awkward for some perhaps....but those people are no fun :D lol Also, nah you need to talk some, your voice is too nice to let it go to waste :)
TheEpicureanAtheist 8 months ago
@TheEpicureanAtheist Snarling and talking, there's a happy balance. And no worries, I'll never stop talking :) Just sort of a habit...but it only happens when I don't think.
HeyRuka 8 months ago
It's weird though, because in your mini-rant you make it sound like all opinions count. Like somebody who thinks X is whatever, is somehow right about it, despite it being an entirely subjective thing.
I think you're gorgeous. So said as much. The guy after me might think you're ugly, and say as much. The guy after us might be insane and think there are hidden messages in your vlogs.
Take the opinions you like and agree with.

IncidentalShine 8 months ago
The problem is we'd still be different and not perfect. Cause if everyone is "perfect" then everyone is average. That means the first person to change their appearance to a different but cosmetically pleasing way. They'd be the beautiful ones. It's like the women in countries that where neck extenders. People would still be different colours, have different opinions. Racism exists only because people pick up on differences. It bothers them. It always will be can't change, no matter if we could.

Thumbs up for Iron Maiden t-shirt.
Ad hom attacks are silly. Why not point out why a person is wrong. Instead of reduce yourself to insults. Shows a persons lack of intelligence.
Racism is a fear of difference. Why so scared, eh? If you're scared you must be intimidated. We have no control over our color or ethnicity.
GodlessManitoban 8 months ago
This is sort of redundant. People have always insulted and bullied each other since the dawn of humanity. They do it because they lack empathy, have insecurities, and to unleash pent up rage from other incidents in their lives. I don't think it 'right' or 'wrong', it just is. We've all attacked someone in our lives at some point. I think more than anything it displays a problem in the antagonists life and the need to distract themselves.

@MarkMuses I was hoping for more of a sociological, anthropological or psychological study or article. This video gives no links to sources.
And he doesn't seem to understand biology, calling races "subspecies."
TheLaughingOut 8 months ago
@TheLaughingOut A race is any breeding group made distinctive by one or more phenotypical traits. Hence, aliens can be a "race", humans as a species can be a "race", subspecies of humans can be a "race" and lower divisions of humans can be a "race".
For example the Kalenjin of Africa consistently demonstrate thousands of times more success in long distance running than is predictable and I will gladly take a money bet by any anti-racist on it who is true their principle.
MarkMuses 8 months ago
@TheLaughingOut Sources are provided. It's a long series try checking it out. If you are don't want to then let's discuss Sarich's book. The guy revolutionised dating of humans using the molecular clock. He's a good start and quoted by MrHerrIQ. I can go into many more in detail if you wish to discuss detail.
MarkMuses 8 months ago
@MarkMuses He provides no sources in the form of links. Of course I did not watch the entire series, that would take all day, but I checked their description boxes and found not a single link.
I'm not really looking to discuss this unless you can give me something credible to read like a journal from pubmed or something, even an article from a science website would be worth looking into. But a lengthy comment discussion with no evidence is pointless.
TheLaughingOut 8 months ago
@MarkMuses I'd definitely start on MrHerrIQ's channel for some basic insight. I love his vids.

i don;t think racism is inherent.
in societies where civil rights are practiced for a few generation, there is barely any racism.

thatsnotagoodidea 8 months ago
I tend to agree that racism is largely genetic; it is a form of tribalism.
Tribalism has a beautiful side - cooperation
and an ugly side - racism.
But I also tend to think that humans have evolved in such a manner that (if properly planned) we can get away from much of the "dog-eat-dog" things we see in the rest of nature.

AnimetedMe 8 months ago
