bob helm was AMAZING, i remember him so well. all the band members had quirky personalities. ah, ya gotta love musicians, it's a labor of love.

I remember Pete Clute & most of the guys in the band. My father(Chris Stevens) made sure we grew up with music and this is the true music of my life...

They would come to Detriot, do a matinee & then come to our house for a party...it could go on for days..Thanx...

Amie, I loved to watch your Dad play piano!! My Mom had seen the best of the best, but Pete Clute was always her favorite too. I was just a little kid but I remember him always being so kind to me. I still listen to Turk and Pete's recordings often--such wonderful music, and wonderful people. They're all very much missed.

that's my father on piano. i grew-up listening to this band for the earlier part of my life, from conception till about 17 years and on. i have a greater appreciation for them now than i ever did, but sooooooooooooo many memories of growing up at earthquake mcgoon's. beautiful people. love bob helm, turk, and of course, my father, pete clute!!!

I remember your father....My dad(Chris Stevens) was good friends with Turk Murphy, and the other guys in the band too...I'm happy to see your name here...this music is clear clean true....
