you're missing the point. when playing guitar hero you don't pretend to play the song, you're perfectly aware of the fact that it takes no creativity, just alot of dexterity, hand-eye coordination, speed and sometimes rhythm.

And although learning to play the song for real might be a better use of time, it takes waaaay longer to learn and isn't always fun.
