hey alex the sienna sunbusrt strat looks like a 2007 usa deluxe if i am right as the pearloid pickguard. i think in 2008 they change the pickguard mint green i think. or parchment . also is that ash body?
I like marks style. I maid my Strat in to a super Strat. The last thing I did was put EMG pups and a pick guard. I hate Maple necks, I dumped that and put a Super Fast Ebony neck one it.
It is the hottest strat I ever played. I have it tuned to DADGAD for some Zep.
another mark knoplfer fan he he I was using the thumb index and middex, now I use thumb, index, midex and ring finger, it is making things a lot faster, I was stubborn before, put now I use ring I can see error of my ways, knoplfer is a one off man, he was born to do that, he could play with his pinky and come out smelling of roses, how long U been playing guitar ? it takes a wile to get knoplers rytmetic playing style down like
Russian Custom Shop Strat? Based on what I see in the video, it looks like an American Deluxe? Anyway, most noiseless pickups I've heard are nice & quiet, but you also lose a lot of character. 57/62s were designed by pickup genius Bill Lawrence and are what a Strat should like!
Thank You for this video.! I'm using SCN for few years now and I was wondering if it's just me or do this pickups lack some soul... well, compared to 57/62 they definitely do and I'm changing right away. All dough it's true, SCN have almost zero noise and you can overdrive them as much as you want with any effects or overdriven chanel (Mesa in my case) but it's just not that true fender strat sound..
Hi dude, I just bought a MIM and I wanna buy the 57/62 pickups. When you changed the default pickups for the 57/62 ones, did you notice a big or a small upgrade/change? Do you recomend them? Greetings
@putalawea2 Well, depends on the sound you want to produce. Don't go with 57/62 if you want some heavy overdriven modern tones. But if you want to play blues, classic rock or something like that, these pickups will really help you.
@DaanJM A neck material's effect on tone is actually largely speculative. There isn't any real evidence or research backing proving it. Difference in fretboard materials are mainly for aesthetic purposes.
sorry just read your info its a russan strat with scn pups.i

57/62's sound beautiful. SCN's are horrible. Just my opinion.

You're comparing a rosewood neck to a maple neck as well. It's not a very accurate comparison.
