I don't understand the appeal of Tom Hanks. I have always cringed when I see him and I'm sure that his feet stink like sweaty tennis shoes. Meg and Catherine Zeta-Jones have to be great actresses to get pretend to be all hot and bothered by him.
@nancyandaharon I have never thought he was cute either, but personality and sense of humor are awesome in a man, and in this movie, his appeal is how much he loved his deceased wife, which by in large, appeals to most women. We all want to be loved like that.
