WHAT YOU DID NOT HEAR WAS THE FALSETTO LEAD IN LIKE EARL LEWIS, WHICH WAS REMOVED. IN ADDITION, THE BASS IN THE BACKGOUND & THE HARMONY AND TEMPO LENDS MORE TO THE CHANNELS. @cynthia6637. Actually most of the guys who stood around singing harmony, was because they could not afford musical instruments. Think that goes back to the Mills Brothers. My husband sang in a group and that was his story.
