  • how is this board for park riding? and would union dlx's work well with this board

  • @acownz2 , I bought this board and the DLXs and LOVE the set up. I'm a beginner and can only do 50-50s and Basic Air...so I can't really say how great it is for the park for sure. I can say the board is on the stiffer side of soft, and you HAVE TO LAND CENTERED, or else things get sketchy.

The DLXs are incredible value, and soft enough or Stiff enough for anything. I like the way the toestrap sits compared to the contact/flite basetray as well.

  • @acownz2 - This board is great in the park and any of the Union Bindings will work well.

  • For a rider just starting out, would a stiffer or softer binding work better for this board? I was looking at the Union Contacts.

  • @ocieh - Softer binding

  • @ocieh great binding

  • will i have to get it detuned to ride boxes?

  • @ballinsk8 - I would recommend a two or three degree base and edge bevel for a catch free slide.

  • @sierrasnowboard thanks and what's the weight range for this board in 150?

  • i have that!!!!!!

  • i've been riding for a couple years now, my foot size is 11.5 i'm 5ft 10 and i weigh around 165, what is the best board for me?

  • @warzone110 - You want to find a board that fits your riding style that is around 154-158 in length and is mid wide.

  • i already loved sierra snowboards, but this video reassured me, your playing kid cudi in the background !!! i love you guys !

  • Thanks

  • The GNU Park Pickle has an extruded base as well as a number of other Lib Tech boards.

  • are all the magnatraction boards extruded bace or does gnu make a sintered bace board also witch would you recomend for a long time rider that loves the steeps pow and kickers???

  • Yes you can hit big kickers or what ever else you want on a board with an extruded base. The sintered base is a more expensive way to bold the plastic and allows the base to hold a texture and better hold wax. This allows it to be finely tuned and in turn has the capability if tuned properly to be much faster than an extruded base material.

  • The board can be belt waxed, cold waxed or paste waxed each day to keep the speed up.

The base will be durable, yet never faster than a well tuned sintered base.

  • The MTX (Magnitraction) will have good edge hold at any speed.

The base is an extruded base so will not be quite as fast as a well tuned sintered base.

  • i just got this board like 10 minutes ago from my local shop. i cant wait to shred it, hopfully itll help my riding progress alot

  • i have the previous version and its sweet

    really want this one thoughh

  • i want this board soooo bad!!! since i can't afford the skate banana, it's cousin the ccs is the next best thing!
