All GTA episodes are kinda the same when your think about it. GTA3 and 4 both are the most serious of the era. Vice City and lost and damned have someone that once once close betray you. And San Andreas and Ballad of Gay Tony are over the top action awesomeness!

@scootNsk84life i would recommend the ballad of gay tony cuz you get explosive rounds in helicopters and a shotgun and its a good story but i have not played too much of the lost and damned but i do know the scenery is pretty bad so ya, hope this helped

I love TBoGT. It's just so fun. I love the shotgun that shoots explosive rounds and all the over the top stuff. And some of those missions were heart-pounding! Especially the last one in the plane! Also Luis is cooler than Niko. Grand Theft Awful 4 was completely boring. It went overboard with the realism and took most of the fun out.

If GTA V brings back the stuff from TBoGT and multiplies it by a thousand, it's gonna be the greatest game ever made.

It brought the fun of the old games back... GTA IV "realism" made it boring at times, the missions were repetitive and lacked imagination.

The missions in Ballad of Gay Tony were so much more inventive and crazy... It felt like you were playing San Andreas again...

Fuck realism, GTA is meant to be F-U-N.

Never said it was uncool... Obviously it's a terrific game, actually I'm replaying it right now, and I actually do appreciate it more now than during my first playthrough.

But it had some weaknesses (somewhat repetitive missions, much less content than San Andreas, practically nothing to do outside the main story) that Episodes from Liberty City largely corrected.

Still, GTA standards are so high anyway...

@sugardaddy815 dude stop dissing gta 4. they are all equally awesome. gta 4 still had all the same fun in it but it had a real feel to it. if your judging it by not being fun enough then that makes me believe that in san andreas all u did was put in cheat codes and kill everyone. u got gta 4 and played the first mission and found out that there wasnt that many cheats and they wanted u to actually play the missions. u play gta for cheat codes. i play gta for the experience.

Please dude, first I didn't "diss" GTA IV. Pointing out certain weaknesses in a game that you still thought was a masterpiece is not dissing. Second, you don't know how I play the game, so stop assuming!

I do appreciate the experience, the atmosphere, the storyline, the character developement, the social commentary, the parodies, the radio stations...

See, I did play the fucking missions and you know what? I found them too easy!

The game was never really challenging. The previous games all had a few missions that drove you mad but then gave you a sense of accomplishment. In GTA IV, it was always: "go there, kill that guy, the end".

No chasing a jet with a dodo, robbing a casino, breaking into a military base...

It tells me they focused so much on desinging the city, the "feel" and the story that they neglected the missions.

To be honest I like Tbogt better than gta 4 so far, i just got the complete edition, and i love playing as luis 10x more than playing as some russian fob from gta 4. Only thing i dont like about ELC is no girlfriend, no clothes store, and no barber shop. I hope rockstar will learn that a little customization doesnt hurt.

@CRYmasyny L.A Noire, Red Dead, and Mafia 2 came after GTA IV. So these games are a bit newer and have better graphics and also a better engine. For example modern games most of the time have better graphics than older games.
