  • In the first 2 legs of the Europe Hair tour this show had a live band on the stage sitting right behind the scaffolding. I know cause I was in the band. Then the producer, Bocksch, got rid of us - and used our recorded instrument tracks from performances we did in Rome. Ah, the memories...

  • i love the union jack t-shirt...great touch!!!

great vocal... are there any more songs from this company?

thanks for posting this haunting song.

  • Raah! Why do they cut it right before the "let the sunshine in" part?

  • Because it's only the song "Flesh Failures". However, it's like having bread without butter.

  • Really dug Claude's vocals!!!

  • Do you know if it's possible to buy a video of the whole production?

Wow, that's amazing! Loved the Romeo/Hamlet quotes in the background, and the key change had a cool effect.

The musical is great. I'd love to see the full stage production, all I've seen is the movie (which is amazing) but I'd like to see the theater version too.

  • wow you have to see the theater version. it is actually much better than the movie...i did not like that the movie switched up the main character...have to disagree with you about the key change...also the duet is supposed to be a female duet and it has a better effect that way. but all the vocalists in this performance were great! btw, don't know where you are located but hair is back on broadway...its started march 31 in nyc if you are close enough to get to see it...

  • Ouch, I'm all the way on the pacific coast and up to my neck in other things... Thanx though

  • have you got this whole show for trading???

    Thank you

  • Shannon was a GREAT Mordred in Camelot.

    Thanks for posting!! =)

  • Great song, it always makes me cry, thanks for sharing!

  • Bruce..I do not know why u are so persistent.Read again your illiterate diatribes.I responded when u made fun of Iceland & racist slurs against Mexican aliens. Both are my background & we of diversity will no longer tolerate this xenophobic&divisive behavior.Dr. of Juris Prudence, were you trying to say Dear Prudence?-it is Doctor of Jurisprudence you ignorant fool.So DUDE, take your shrinkage elsewhere,I have tired of you sending me these postings and go about your vitriol elesewhere.Pedro

  • @brucestringbean ---gobshite

  • OMG I've got a youtube stalker Du bist ein fuckwad

  • Yo, ignoranus (oops spelling error again) - "Young Punk" I was referring to the international stage production of HAIR not the movie. The movie did stink and, of course, you could see that at your age.

  • And by the way I played a cast part of Claude in HAIR - I also saw the Hollywood production 4 times in 1964-65. You were not even born clown, so have no idea the importance of this song or the rock opera itself. We should have a modern day rock opera of the Iraq War - HAIR with its contemporaneous (please check my spelling Bruth)productions throughtout the world.

  • Rock opera of Iraq would be geneous. Really. I wish someone would do that!!

  • Yo, Whitemeat what up? did your hole cave in behind you?

  • How ironic that an ignoranus named "BrucestingBean" would make racist remarks like "wet back." On and ignoranus, the U.S. does not have the highest standard of living - guess who? Denmark! So now ignoranus go to Wikipedia and look up the historical relationship between Iceland and Denmark.

  • How ironic that an idiot like DiegodleaViking, who can't even spell would call me an ignoramus

  • Nice correction bruthstringbean - yes you caught me misspelling a decription of you, as an ignorAnus. I guess my Juris Doctorate degree could not distinguish between the two descriptions of a dimb bulb racist.

  • Of course there are also no wet backs on Iceland so I guess there's SOME good in being a FUCKING ROCK in the north Atlantic. But if you want Iceland to be the garden spot of the planet have at it

  • Actually I'm 42 and I've sctually been to Iceland (makes one of us huh?). There are no trees in Iceland, There is no industry in Iceland (fish heads don't count) and if not for the AMERICAN airbase there, there'd be no economy on Iceland.

  • Man, what could I possibly have been thinking of course Iceland should have been my first thought for " greatest nation in the world" . I guess the overwhelming number of people trying to get there should have been a clue huh?

    BI-ATCH PA-LEEEEEEEEZ.

  • how old are you 13. Population is not a measurment. read a newspaper, or watch cnn. or stop being a douche. there is a world outside american influence and its better.

  • You're certainly welcome to disagree & express your disagreement. None of my posts were serious anyway. It was Tipper Gore not Hitlerry that launched "the war on pop music" & I'm NOT voting republican I'm voting for Ron Paul

  • Typical American.

  • are you stupid, wait yes you are. America is not the highest standard of living. Being even from america, i am still saying this. Take a good look at Iceland they are number one in the world in standard of living. It is "Americans like you Mr. Bricestringbean that give this country a bad name, good job you ignorant asshole.

  • You're the one wall-of-texting on youtube.

Find another outlet. Go find an Elks Lodge or something.

  • But I'd rather hang out here and just piss you off

  • It's sad you think I'm pissed.

  • You're right it is pathetic, we have 12 million illegal aliens invading our country & saying it's their's while their government applauds them & tells them to reconquer America.

We have a revolving door justice system that lets violent offenders loose & keeps minor drug offenders locked up for years

  • I went ahead & wrote some modern lyrics for The Flesh Failures

    We starve, look

At one another, short on cash.

Shivering weakly in our winter coats.

Paying taxes for people won't get a job!

Facing a dying nation of pathetic liberal fantasies

listening for the new told lies

with fearlful visions of hillary (in the white house)

  • Pathetic.

  • its actually not too bad. although I wouldnt want hilary in (Im from nz- it doesnt matter what I think- but does any remember her "war" on pop music in the 80's? and i cant believe any sane person would vote for republicans in this day and age- and I completely disagree with all yr other posts, but I dont mind your rewrite.

  • Kinda curious to here your view point a year later

  • Muito simplista para a grandiosidade do original.

  • Great preformence

  • too tech-y

  • Awesome! I just wish it had the entire song.

  • blimey yeah wow too!,

  • O_o Wow.

  • Fantastic job Don't know what it is about this song but it always bring a tear to my eye.
