  • You are a life saver for taking the time and doing this for all of us who can't think and do for ourselves!!

  • O C D !!!

  • Thank you. You give me hope!

  • Hi -

I get a lot of mean-spirited teasing for being tidy and organized. Watching your video made me feel better about being neat. (I'm tired of being called "anal".) Thanks for posting your organization videos.

  • You have some good ideas but your video was really drawn out for such a small task.

  • Ya I know.. it was one of my very first videos.

    Thanks for watching!

  • i really need help with organization and this video was really informative thanx

  • I've cut a hole in a nice plastic cup, same color as the kitchen the phone and wire is in the cup and it is plugged in through the hole and it holds the cup under the wall socket.

  • This is a great idea! I cannot wait to see the other videos in this series. I already have a desktop charger that I was given, but I still loved your box idea.

  • Very informative! Practical steps to FREEDOM!

Our God, who made the universe, is a God of order.

our enemy is kaotic, which is the exact opposite!

When I'm dissorganized... I can't even think straight! LOL

    Thank you !!!! Thank you

  • Sometimes, a little chaos is fun!

    Thanks for watching!

  • I ran past your YOUTUBE and would like you to check out my product...... The "BallClaw", it is a sports ball holder/Organizer, for Basketball, Soccer/Volleyball and Footballs... Please contact me, I would love to talk with you..

    Thank you,

    John Kurcheski

    Inventor

  • John, I did check out your youtube, and I think that your invention is FABULOUS!! Kudos to you! I'm curious.. how does it mount to the basketball pole? Great product! Thanks for the heads up!

    Stephanie

  • I really like this idea, but what's up with the sound? It sounds bad. :( Maybe you can fix???

I'm curious as to what your mother was like when you were growing up. I know you mentioned having twins, but was your mother ultra organized or was she the exact opposite.

I always find it interesting when this subject comes up ~ cuz many times the people I talk to are the polar opposite of what they grew up with.

  • Thank you so much for this wonderful idea...it is very creative in thinking and really solves this chaotic cord dilemma that we all have in our lives...and you are really pretty and your house is so clean, i need to clean...but get so discouraged, well thanks again

  • Great video! Also cigar stores have tons of wooden boxes ($3) that are a nice size for this.

A small shelf or box screwed to the wall like a mini cabinet will get it up off your counters & you don't have to clean around it!

  • thanks,I am so disorganized! that really helped!

  • thanks for posting your organization tips. I was just thinking that another solution to the cell phone cord clutter would be getting identical phones. Chargers could be placed in different parts of the house (hooked to computer, stereo system, kitchen). It's easy to set the phone in a cradle...and it can serve as a clock or other device as more 3rd party apps are made for it. Oh yeah, it can be a kitchen timer too :)...and recipe organizer once MacGourmet makes their software for it.

  • Although I appreciate organization, I personally find disorganized people more pleasant. Very organized people, in my experience, are usually very uptight and stress easily.

  • Well, you don't know me! I'm very laid back, and in MY experience.. disorganized people are stressed "where are my..... (fill in the blank)?" I think that everyone needs thier own system, and if being chaotic works for you, that's great! It never suited me much. Have a great day and thanks for watching! :)

  • i would need a huge box...for the laptop charger, camera battery charger, 1 mobile phone, 1 printer cord, 1 desk lamp cord and 1 hi-fi cord, 3 desktop pc cords...all at one spot where there's a multi-plug with 3 outlets. I dun see how that box can work for me

  • You could always try several smaller boxes...

  • did i hear u right? u taught urself to be organized? i wish i could do that but i don't listen to myself!:)

i love watching monk bcoz i'd like to be as organized as detective monk. i have that desire to be terminally organized as u call urself. in my head i really am organized. i know what to do to be one but i behave differently...does that make sense to you? anyway, i'm really curious about how u were able to teach urself to be organized. leave me a message pls.

  • Thanks for watching, isat, yes I taught myself, through discipline and very small steps. For example, try organizing one cabinet and maintaining it for a month before you move on to the next one. .

  • will do. it takes 21 days to form a habit, right? love that title by the way, terminally organized. show us more of your organizing tips. need visuals, like what you've shown with the cellphone in a box.

  • I posted a new video! It's posted as a video response to this one! Thanks for watching!

  • This was amazingly helpful!

    Thanks! :D

  • You mention books and sites that helped you out, can you list a few, I need help I find myself completely disorganized and I've started to hate myself because of it since I read organizing for dummies that i got for 99 cents at a bargain store and I really want to super organize everything now

  • I really enjoyed this. The only comment I would make is that we charge our phones in our bedroom at night. That way we have the phones right by the bed for emergency purposes. But you could put the box on the nightstand or dresser! TFS

  • Love the idea! Will definite find a box tomorrow! One tip: a bit of organization while taping. Turn cell phone off. Decide what you're going to say ahead of time. Could've said the same things in 3 min's instead of 10. Nonetheless, really loved the box-for-wires idea! : ) Thanks for doing this for us!

  • Thanks for the tips.

  • I posted a new video... keeping your tip in mind, I shortened it to just under 8 minutes for an entire cabinet! It's posted as a video response here. Thanks for watching!

  • Hey - i truly enjoyed this.

I am really looking forward to upcoming

    videos & tips from you.

    A fan from Denmark.

  • Thanks! I'm working on a new one!

  • This will be really good to have this series. I have a motto too: If I don't use something for six months, it goes out.

Please put this into a blog, Stephanie. It will be popular.

Also, if you work on your keywords here you might pick up an audience.

Good stuff. This will be a good series.
