why the Americans hold their guns with the barrel downwards when moving? To shoot in their legs? ;)
The Bulgarians are moving with the barrel forwards. if someone shoots at them, they can shoot back without losing time to lift the barrel. Besides if they throws themselves on the ground they have to move the barrel at just 90 degrees and the Americans have to move it at 180 degrees. - There is no sense to plunge on the ground aiming at your feet ;)
There were wars ages ago, few decades ago, these days and there will be in future although modern people don't want to believe in that. The rules were and always be the same terminate the actions with fewer casualties and losses. ;]
Yeah of course its nice to have a Military union with the US they have advanced technologies, excellent training... but there is only one thing they'll never have and that is patriotism like ours, despite the fact its fading away from nowaday generation which is pity.... Maybe if youngsters pay more attention in education that will turn up they interest in our history and success deep in ages ago. Without a doubt the mankind want peaceful world, but there always be aggression among people :]

The modern Bulgarian army was created by Russian officers in 1877-1879. And Russian infantry has always been the best.
