i can get two diamond audio d9 amplifiers for $300 but when i heard them hooked to two JL 12"s and a JL 15" i wasnt very impressed.. think it was just hooked up wrong or what? and do you think they will be good enough to push a Fi BTL 15" hard? any help would be appreciated.

im not sure about your amps power, but i know your JL 12's and JL 15" will HOUND! i got 2 JL audio 12" w7's. and your 12's shound have about 1000 watts per 12. and your 15 about 1200 watts to it.

(That info is depending on your type of JL 12's and JL 15. what are your 12's? w7? and your 15?

I put t112 Power by RF in a ported box in an 09 Element. The Diamonds are sick but are worn in a bit now. I think they can handle a wider range of sounds then the RF, but the RF seem very punchy and perhaps more durable. Hifonics??? I've only used Alpine PDX and FR Power.

Not sure man, I have two Hex Pro 10s in my s2k. My son just got a car so I may want to put one t212d2. My buddy has two T1 FS in his ride and I think over the long run they will be more sturdy. I have been hittin' these for sometime and they flap a bit now. They still push so hard and I have ridden on trips for 6HRs bumpin hard the whole time so they have put in some work.

i would go with diamond audio amps as opposed to jl. diamond audio d6 line amps are very clean and have a very good damping factor. 1200 watts for one of those subs is nothing. so 1200 watts would be good. as long as they see atleast 1000 watts rms youll be good.

they are built for power handling, the car audio guys i know have done lots of testing with these subs and have told me that the 15" can handle 3000 wrms/ voice coil, plus the cooling technology used in these subs is also amazing, the excursion also helps with the cooling haha

what kinda set up are you running? what amps do you have? what power are you running to them? yeah. hatchbacks are good for sound like that... i know this one guy whos got 2 tdx 15's and he hits 165 db :P kickers dont have nearly the quality that the diamonds have. kickers get loud, but they have a lot of overheating and melting problems... if you ever try burping those kickers, they hit less and less everytime...

ehh not really sure but it was mostly stinger stuff ,im not much of a pro into setups and stuff thats why i had them do the work =X. but the tdx each are 750W Rms in a custom close box with a see thru plastic side , and for some reason i kept burning the stinger fuse. man those tdx's need minimum 1000 rms each. kickers dont compare to d9's man. yes i have ideas, give each of them 2000 watts rms then see if kicker is worth it :p l7's can bite diamonds ass and hard:p screw kicker. give those subs seom real power man. tdx's dont run well with less than 1000 rms.

I would say, go to your nearest car audio shop and have them meter it, most will be more than happy to help ya. if you dont have one close by then i would say go on the internet and look around for a cheap meter.
