"Blackflagging" means they get ONE step that isn't a Perfect. Generally, it refers to getting one Great that would otherwise result in a AAA/Full Perfect Combo; but on occasion I've seen it used to refer to something like 1-miss/rest-Perfects, as well.

It's not a waste of time if you have fun. Plus, a lot of people care about getting a AAA. It gives you an overwhelming feeling of satisfaction to see a AAA on your screen. Besides, it shows off your skill and gives you something to work towards. Where's the motivation without something more to accomplish? Just so my comment is clear: I was saying most people introduced to DDR through Hottest Party aren't as experienced with harder songs and have low standards for what's amazing, while pre-HP players (pre-2000ish especially) are often jaded and would pass over this video for being too "n00bish". I'm somewhat jaded... I consider anyone who can regularly AAA anything in DDR an amazing player. A truly incredible player is able to 100% (AAA) ITG-level 13s regularly. Again, look at calimist.

you get super samurai after beating the game once, and once you beat the game a second time, it will be unlocked.

but for the japanese version of the game, i think its some other song.

If you want to atleast PLAY the song, then just finish any song on any mode with a AA.

but you can only do this once youve beaten the game at least ONCE!

THIS MUST BE DONE IN FREEPLAY MODE!!!

first, you have to unlock all of the other songs in the game. second, you have to play 3 songs on difficult or expert and get an AA or better on the third one. then, a new challenger will appear. defeat him and you unlock the song.

P.S. If you've never played the song before i SEROIUSLY recommend that you do it on difficult. expert is HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRDDDDDDD­DD. (well for me it is...)
