You know when Clark looks at all his trials during the previous 10 years the music in the background its supposed theme for superman i wish those producers of the show should let us hear this soundtrack its so heroic
3:43 to 3:48 was my only gripe about this scene as the helicopter rescue hadn't actually happened to him yet (...though I realize the event had since become a part of his memory, thanks to Brainiac).

I was blubbering all the way through this scene as I could see where it was going. Then I just erupted when he was flying. Its a good job my wife understands my belief and faith in Superman else I may have found myself having a divorce. lol

After realizing everything he had been through and seeing the hero he has always been, Darksied immediately stood no chance. Clark flying was symbolic of the power he was able to harness, rendering Darkseid as virtually nothing.

This was one of my favorite scenes!! It was a perfect montage of every important thing that's ever happened to Clark. Every moment of "Smallville" was just a trial for hik to become the world's greatest superhero. Who knew?
When he started flying...I lost it! I was so excited, jumping up and down on my couch and shouting, "He's flying! He's flying!" It was one of the greatest moments of the entire show!
Excellent scene. Only problem I had was that, in terms of epic, Darkseid fell far short of even the Animated Series version. But the scene itself, going through the memories of the trials, was definitely a good moment, topped only by the scene in the Fortress.

He's flying!!!!" Needless to say, my family...kinda pissed at me. LOL But I don't care!!

Anybody saying that Darkseid went down to easily is missing the point. The only thing that could have defeated him was the light that was inside Clark. After realizing everything he had been through and seeing the hero he has always been, Darksied immediately stood no chance. I don't get why some people were upset by the conclusion of Clark's confrontation with Darkseid.
This clip doesn't show Clark destroying Darkseid, it shows him stopping him TEMPORARILY, the same as he did with Doomsday in Season 8.
Darkseid and Doomsday both will return again in the future, and this time he will fight them as SUPERMAN!!!
