Elvis On Tour DVD finally released here in Australia - I just obtained it.Haven't yet sat and watched it. Thank you juro100 for sharing the above. . . brings back memories when I saw EOT at the movies for the first time.. Keep Elvis in your hearts everyone.
The announcer said that Elvis went to 15 different cities and 15 different nights and he's not running for president. He doesn't have to! He's the King!
As i've said this version does not have the extra pictures either side of the main one we see! You can see them just at each side of the main picture here. You should be watch elvis X3 on the same screen in different poses at the same time.
DVD out this year that is proper wide screen with all three images on screen at once :)
rest in peace my friend we share the same birthday so i feel connected to you some how.i wish i was able to see you in person.you do have a man who is the closest ive ever seen who is a tribute artist named SHAWN KLUSH he does you proud my friend.my mom is up in heaven with you now and she im sure is very happy.thank you for all you ever did for music so we can enjoy life a little better. i will forever be a true fan. tom corthell
Elvis On Tour Will finally be released to DVD and Blu Ray this fall. But there will be no extras. This sucks and Warner Bros. can go jump off a cliff.
You will notice this youtube clip doesn't have the multi-screen images but you can just see them on the sides of certain scenes. So i assume this is the 1997 release. Something i have no interest in on dvd. So please tell me the new dvd has the images.
@mayoukii no it's not. This theme is different. I've been trying for a long time to figure out what that theme is but i have no clue. It's f*cking awesome.
It's not "Also Sprach Zarathustra". For some reason they overdubbed the original "2001 Space Odyssey" with what you hear in the film. Could have been some kind of copyright thing.
Thanks for posting but damn! This is now the 3rd version of this doco on youtube that is zoomed in. 5:19 you will see the start of an image on the left of main plus there should be one on the right aswell. What a shame. Hurry up MGM and release the proper widescreen DVD of this.
i grew up an elvis fan. i was born in 84 but my dad was an elvis lover to the max and my first time ever knowing of elvis was through this movie. I am a musician and if it wasnt for Elvis I wouldnt be interested in music. long live the king
Thaks ! Polk Salad Annie on of my favorites I can't believe that MGM or somebody else not planned to shoot more concerts in the period 1969 - 1972 when he was in the best shape, both physically and mentally. Too bad no one shot back in August 1969 Elvis was great, the concerts in February 1970 the International Hotel / Hilton when she was in the best shape of his life and missing the 1971 concerts of course where he was still with his wife and was very happy
Well at least we have concerts in August 1970 which were the best movies ever. And those of Elvis on Tour in 1972 and they were very good but looked like Elvis began to change. Aloha in 1973 very good but Elvis instead behave like a normal concert was too sober and not have that energy that he had before.
Thank you soooo much for uploading this tour and in such good quality! What you did is priceless! THANKS FOR SHARING THE KING IN ONE OF HIS BEST PERFORMANCES!!!! Elvis forever! ♥
His manager was a gumbler. Elvis in heaven knows everything about him and I think he's ok with the rest of us sharing our affection, appreciation & thankings for his angel voice all these years! Isn't he? Oh I wish he'd stayed a few years more on earth...
@motherdesp many many years more for all of us who didn't have the chance to see him alive on the stage and why not?meet him!!!!!! love you Elvis, always because of who you where......
15 cities 15 nights wow. it must be hard doing that stuff. poor guy. i think the career just took too much outta him and he really never got appreciated by his manager and elvis should of been paid more.
Is that Dr Nick at 4:40 behind Red West?

Unlike the 1997 VHS reissue which didn't have them. I hope it has them.
