  • OMG Wind is blowing the propeller away!!

  • Men were a lot smaller in stature during the first world war so how did those little guys swing that prop?

  • We're gonna have to go right to... ludicrous speed

  • youre prop is made of rubber, you may wanna get that checked out

  • The prop's not bent, illusion of the camera taking the video..............

  • Think you need a new prop, that one looks a lil bent

  • its just the frames have gone triangle

  • I haven't seen/heard/smelled a Rhone running in several years. There's a living museum a bit north of me that still has them. I don't remember the propeller appearing to bend as it does here. That's odd.

  • Nice. It's amazing how finely crafted the "innards" of these engines were. Too bad they couldn't let the LeRhone run 'balls to the wall' for a while (just like how they ran in the air, 100% or nothing).

  • WWI pilots flying long missions would come back to base and crap like a goose from inhaling all those castor oil fumes!!

  • A rubber propeller. LOL.

  • From Brasil

  • Nice is that all original?

  • that was AWESOME

  • Acid-trip

    Awesome engine!

  • Dude your camera makes that look crazy

    Crazy awesome!

  • Some trippy shit!

  • This is a monosoupape (single valve) rotary four-stroke engine with total-consumption oiler (it was the only way to lubricate these engines!). These things were regulated by switching the ignition in and out; very much a hit-and-miss system. These engines produced more power for their size than any other engine at the time.

  • wow, so totally awesome! Boy, the frame rates make the prop look really freaky!

  • cell phone camera? :*)

  • Fun with frame rates!

  • oh my fucking god do not smoke and watch this vid cuz i just triped the hell out yall but cool vid

  • Whoa.. the synch with the video scared me for a second :). Glad to see you could still start it up!

  • wide angle lens?

    engine sounds awesome!!!

  • Congratulations!!!

    Hans
