  • i sold mine on ebay for $300 now im thinking i shouldnt have sold it LOL

  • Yeah I was using the stock electric pulley, around 3-4psi. They are good cruisers, but just too heavy for my liking, coming from an RX7 before that. Got a GTR now 300awkw, even left a C63 AMG for dead. (Well, not for dead, but I pulled away during each gear haha.) Spent a good chunk of time and money and it's my baby. :)

  • @ph33x the stock pulley is like 2-3psi max, i had the pulley bro 5psi, that was 103mm i got it taken down to 100mm and on the dyno see 4.8psi max unintercooled mad 154rwkw got vids on here of dyno and drags, i went out and did a best of 8.8 down the 1/8th pretty good for a vn, and no intercooler and 35deg day.

  • Why did you put the throttle body before blower? The force between is and the inlet side of the charger compared to the outlet side is huge because nothing is there to relieve the vacuum, just curious.

  • @ph33x

If you know how long an sc14 is you would want to put the t/b infront of the supercharger it makes it alot more quiet, but when you have intercooler and the pipes will suck in and the sensors on the t.b is further away it makes the car play up abit, i only recommend T/b infront of charger if the outlet is going from the supercharger straight to the manifold its not as far and no vaccume issues with silicon bends.

also found out that my coilpack wireing was up the shit and didnt run well

  • @BzKn33z Yes the vacuum needed for that kind of setup would be laggy, you can reduce noise with a stock air filter setup, and keep the benefits of no throttle lag, great response. I'm not being a hater or boy racer fag either, I've had one of these on a VR, just no intercooler on my setup, wasn't making big boost. Now the car sits there waiting for someone to buy it for parts haha.

  • @ph33x yeah i had a airbox on mine previously, it makes it quiet, but when you run more boost it just gets louder and louder, a good 5psi makes a difference unintercooled and good tune, you will be beating genIII

  • @BzKn33z the tb is in front of the sc from factory with the sc systems on toyota. im dong a twin charge system on my car, the sc will boost around 8psi at low rpm, at about 3000rpm the turbo will spool up and take over. when this happens a bypass valve will close in front of the sc so hot air from the turbo does not go through the sc
