The democratic congress were responsible for too much spending. Many would argue that all of the technology investment that occurred during the 80's led to the surplus that Clinton's administration presided-over. If you guys read or payed any attention, you would've noticed that this video was posted in January of 2010 and the debt wasn't as high yet. Second, the point of the video is to show that cutting tax for the rich doesn't work which is what we have under Obama because of an intransigent congress. We tried it two times under Reagan and under Bush and it didn't work. Why we want to keep the same policy and try it a 3rd time is beyond me.

Reagan, although he was bad on spending policy, did not increase the debt through tax cuts; in fact, the 1980's had the greatest tax revenue up to that point (adjusted for inflation of course). The democratic congress were responsible for too much spending. Clinton's first two years marked extreme spending because the Dems had congress, while the republicans managed to temporarily shut down the government, bringing a small surplus

@AmericansWakeUp Congress writes the budget- Not the President. Fox news is as ridiculous as MSNBC and CNN look at the facts and you will find that the partisan spin is a divisive tool to distract you from the real problem- Government spending on both sides of the isle.
