@JustAnotherSonicFan - it's a trailer, it isn't supposed to give away the plot or key scenes. you're just used to seeing the movie spoiled & condensed into about a minute, cause most trailers are all the key-frames of the film, then you see the film and all it is is filler-shots inbetween the bits you saw in the trailer.

This film is very different to Tsukamoto's usual style. It's nowhere near as good as the first two, but I recommend watching it anyway. Just be prepared for something completely different to what you expect.

I think with the progression of all the technology and advancement in props these days, it will make the transformation even more satisfying mechanically wise. I don't think I'll be let down. A lot of the comments are from kids who haven't seen the complete installment of the first two so they don't really understand it. People automatically assume that because it's a sequel it will suck, well they obviously haven't seen Aliens.
