RPG Maker 3 Tips & Tricks - Changing the main character

What if you add a new member to a group of 4 members? Will the game glitch and shut down the current game you are playing? Or will it actually add the player to make it a group of 5? I just hate RPG Maker 3's limitations, im sueing the creator for limitations!

@kkman22able Best way to know is to try. I think it will either refuse to add the new member, or get rid of one of the old ones.

How do I add people down the story line to my party? O.o

@srafn1 You mean you want to add characters to your party during the game? The video demonstrates how to change the main character but you can follow the same instructions to add a new one, you simply don't remove the current character and you'll have two or more.

@Meuhcoin That makes sense and I'll have to try that...But I also mean having a new person join your party as a result of completing a quest and then talking to them. Do I have create an event for this to happen? Am I making sense at all? lol fraid' i'm not that awesome at explaining things : /

@srafn1 Yes, the only way to make a character join the party is through an event. If you want that to happen by talking to a character, you can just use that character's event code to make it happen.

Hey man, Thank you so much for all of your videos, i recently got the RPG Maker 3, and you have helped me in almost everywhere possible. I was wandering tho, if its possible to have a spell, that will drain your life, but have a great impact on whoever im fighting. Like a sacrifice spell or something. @MR3M1L1O As skills use HP, you can easily create that kind of spell, yeah. Just create a skill that will require a big amount of HP but that will inflict a lot of damage to the opponent through whatever mean. It shouldn't be too hard.

As for teleporting , use the "Warp" event.
