  • getting a 30 gallon myself for christmas and i want a snowflake lol not sure what else to put in there.... anybody think a small regal tang, a dwarf puffer, clownfish, and starfish is a bit over crowded? voice opinions please... and be nice about it O.o

  • @StealthyKunoichiAly toby is good, most puffers get to big, pair of small clownfish and a toby is good, both eel and tang will get to big

  • what type of anemone is it at 1:40?

  • @CombinationTrickshot It looks like a frogspawn coral.

  • where do you get those fans on the side of the tank and what are they called?

  • can you keep a haniochus butterfly in a reef tank or any butterrfly

  • whats a sand sifter

  • what the fuck is wrong with you just because your poor and you cant get somthing bigger than this little nano does not mean you should torture these animals. fuck you

  • @HighVoltageScience

    dude you're a fucking dumbass

  • Not to burst your bubble, it seems like you are a novice at this i have a 33 gallon i would never even think of putting those fish in my tank, make it simple and dont complicate your life, bring back most of those fish please i feel bad for them

  • BIO-LOAD!!!!!!!!!!

  • Simply brutal dude. You can't have that size of fish in a 30 gallon tank. And as for HighVoltageScience, what kind of comments are those? 2 tangs and an angelfish in a 32 gallon? Shame on you. Looks like a couple of novice fish keepers that didn't do their homework or some LFS workers that really wanted to make a sale.

  • I want to says this cuase i have a yellow tang, bule tang, regle anglefish ......... in a 32g with 20H sump and there all fine

when a fish is at the store its never going to see the ocean ever again and in some way its dead

you are buying a life knowing its going to die. it dose not matterd how long it lives its dead

  • @HighVoltageScience go to hell

  • wow.... you are a major asshole if you put those fish in a 30g. the foxface isnt happy at all. the snowflake it is fine...., the grouper i should go ahead and punch you in the face right now, the cowfish.... you need to be hit by a truck. and all those other fish must hate you as well

  • /

Beautiful tank, do you think you can fit any tangs in it or would that be to much

  • Wow. This is horrible. Those fish are way over crowded. It looks like you stacked live rocks in the very back of the tank and left the other half of it for them to swim. Maybe consider taking atleast half of those poor things back to the PS. I dont know who told you doing that was okay, but it isnt.

  • @WhiteFoamies AGREED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • maybe you should upgrade to a I'd say a 250 maybe 300 gallon tank.

  • @TheCatz69 ignore what I said it shoud be a 500 maybe 600 gallon aquarium!!!!!!

  • nice snow flake

  • love it you should up grade to a 55 gal but its cool you dont have eny damsels cus of the lion and panther

  • Im trying to add some coral but im having some trouble getting them to grow on my live rock cause i cant really get a rubber band around the whole live rock to attach it. how did you do it when you couldnt just set it on a flat rock?

  • spotted grouper

  • Too many fish. I dont think a spotted puffer or foxface should be kept in a 30 gallon. Other than that nice tank.

  • what kind of angler do u have? and is the green maderin hard to care for?

  • Your dwarf lion ear your clown yet?

  • that box fish needs at least 150 plus gals at min way over stocked

  • look at my tank, guna start working ym way up 2 look like urs!!!

  • Gee, i didn't know you could keep a foxface in a 30 gallon, i have a 30 gallon tank, and i want a foxface. There's still no way that this is a 30 gallon tank.

  • does your snowflake eel attack any fish or bother the reef at all?

  • that is soo pretty

  • Stunning tank!

  • there is no way that could be a 30 gallon tank, its massive

  • i dont even have to say anything about how to fix it cause they are already dead unless you got a 100g tank

  • other than that youve won my vote bro! Your longnose hawkfish is beautiful man, they are one of my all time favourite fish. and most of your corals are looking healthy and growing! Nice work with the tank :)

  • man im not gonna go on and be a dick like a lot of these guys seem to have been, but you have stocked your tank with a lot of livestock that are going to quickly outgrow the tank. Your gonna need to upgrade them to much larger tanks in a while man - mainly the cowfish, grouper and angler. possibly the snowflake mooray as well but they can do pretty good in smallish tanks like this.

  • Enjoy it while it lasts. This tank has no chance of lasting the test of time. Your list of livestock is straight out of the book of "What not to stock", "Fish to avoid", or "How to nuke your aquarium in no time". Thanks for setting yet another bad example for this hobby.

  • panther grouper in a 30 gallon? bro your gonna need to up the size in a year or so once its full grown then get over a foot :/ and the snowflake eel too will out grow that tank. it looks nice i just hope you plan to upgrade

  • Barramundi cod and snowflake eel = bad news...

Don't plan on having many fish for lonng,,,

  • nice tank I have had my tank up for about 2 months and just going slow a little at a time right now just some live rock and a snowflake eel and two Damsels looking forward to seeing how it turns out

  • this are some of the coolest fish i have ever seen in a reef tank

  • dude your tank looks great. forget what these people say and do what works for you. everything seems to be working. good skimmer, uv sterilizer, 20 g sump, and a refuge, you can HAVE a big bio-load! NICELY executed. a lot of snooty people in this hobby i noticed.

  • nice tank!!!! how long has it ben set up?

  • Nice tank! Beautiful spotted grouper! Has he nipped at any of your coral?

  • What species of angler is that? Hasn't it eaten everything else?

  • Nice looking tank sir! a bit overstocked, but if you keep it clean then it's ok :P

Can I ask you how you build that rock wall, only living rock glue to each other ? or another way ? :) thanks

just got my 31 gal that I'm planing do to reef, but I have a hard time aqua-scaping

  • Well you look at the tank. you look at the size of the fish you make it work. Eventually they would all be to big. I don't think any tank does it like the ocean. But we like the hobby. As for the rock work three to six ohours of placing. No glue. Just gotta have the eye. Good luck.

  • Hey i am looking in to getting a snowflake eel in my 55 gallon soft coral tank and i was wondering how yours does with smaller fish and your corals?

  • Comment removed

  • PS most people don't understand if your fish are not playful something is wrong if your going for the dangerous tank then your on your way

  • Dude you should do some research before you put certain species together your just going to be throwing your money away , bad lighting for a video and badly put together tank good luck though hope you realize the problem

  • How long would you say your eel is? Appologies if that question has already been answered

  • Wow I find it really funny how people have no clue how inappropriate this tank is. The bioload is way too much. And you obviously don't have a proper livestock in that tank. Someone doesn't interact with the staff where they buy there fish and doesn't know how to read. Poorly executed...

  • get those big fish out of there! nice tank though!

  • amazing aquarium that is my dream to have an aquarium like yours and my names robbie too! awesome

  • Thank you very much. Many restless nights putting it together.

  • omg me too i love my reef tank but some long ass nights

  • could you tell me where you purchased your coral from?

  • Dallas North Aquarium, Tx

  • thanks be sure to look at my vid im new to fish tanks and we got a really dirty one from some bad owners :/ i am posting it in a few

  • @MisterTanks i live in fort worth

  • were sand shifter

  • bottom left

  • thx

  • It's not about how much space a fish has its how much habitat there is for it to encorporate into its territory and if they are with fish they can coexist with. Put two clowns in an empty 50 gal tank and see what happens. To be fair, most of those fish seem quite small, for now, and don't seem to be running into each other. And at least its a long tank. The narrow tall ones seem to cramp the fish more,. Looks great to me

  • until the cowfish and grouper grow .. it looks amazing but an almost 2 foot long fish in a 30 gallon is over kill

  • I would think the panther grouper would eat the smaller fish

  • what level do you keep your nitrates at? thanks!

  • thanks!

  • yeah they look crowded as all hell. u must be doing water changes like every other day.

  • Thornback Camel Cowfish

  • whats the name of the fat yellow fish?

  • i thought lionfish arent reef safe..

    nice tank 5/5stars

check out some of my vids if you get the chance

  • all the coral is inverts

  • does the tank hae inverts (crabs, snails etc)?

  • yes it does. Thanks for the view.

  • you mean a 300 gallon tank right? you'd can possibly have all this in a 30

  • Can I put your ass in a coat closet with 4 other people and let you live there for the rest of your life? You gave advice about research, but what kind of research have you done, when you have a tank full of fish like this at that size, you obviously didn't learn shit.

  • wow... if that is a 30gal u r torturing those fish.. get a bigger tank!

  • OMG NOT a 30. Do you care about the wellbeing of these fish at all? Did you bother to do any research? Im praying that you have something else planned for most of the fish you have. If not... your a nimrod.

  • 30 Gallon!!!!!!!!!!?? This is a joke...right?

  • WTF?

I really hope for the sake of the fish that 30gallon is a typo.

  • no way that's 30 galons

  • I'm not sure what your trying to accomplish jaming all those fish together in a super small tank like that.

  • i dont think a noob could keep all that beauty alive in there.. if that is a 30 thou your fish are gonna pissed

  • Does your firefox lay on the sand sometimes?

  • Poor fish choice..most get too big and are not compatible with the smaller ones. Your gonna need a much larger tank

  • wow love all the fish and the rock work stunning! what kind of tank is it aqua one? nano cube?

  • i like those panther fish but they get too big for my tank

  • awesome tank .. look s amazing!

  • Thanks!

  • puffers bend their tails when they don't have a large enough aquarium. I bet he goes up and down the glass too. You must have a lot of money too feed all those picky eaters.

  • nothing in this video is rite... you=noob

  • how much was that

  • wrong fish all super aggresive, panther grouper will grow huge

  • way 2 crowded in there u need 2 upgrade

  • what type of protein skimmer do you have??

  • Love your tank!

How long was it set up after cycling when you started adding coral and stuff?

  • I believe this tank to be 30 gallons. Simply look at the video it is obvious that its 30 gallons. Those fish will get to big for the aquarium. I hope you plan to upgrade soon. I also have a 30 gallon but I'm upgrading to 100 next month.

  • excellent

  • Thanks!

  • you def need a bigger tank soon, the dogfish needs a bigger tank and that grouper will get so big

  • i have a 46 bowfront fowlr and a 29 gal reef system . that 30 is sick man, seriously. helluva job.

  • what kind of lighting are you using. nice tank, but your cowfish need a bigger tank bro.

  • all of those fish need a bigger tank bro.

  • i think he got confuse this tank is 300 gallon read the description

i mean is clearly not 30 gals

  • dude, those fish need MUCH more room than that. The grouper and boxfish (i think its a box fish) need 100 plus gallons

  • dude wheres your angler? NICE AND COOL VID.

  • theres alot of fish in there but at least youve go alot of equipment to cover for it, nice job

  • Nice aquarium, i am hoping to eventually turn my 75 gallon into a reef tank but the lighting is exspensive. Do you think that a snowflake eel, a coral bueaty, and a yellow tang would be ok for a reef tank?

  • I think that would be fine for the tang and the eel, they don't harm coral. But once it comes to trying to keep those beautiful fire shrimp or anything of that matter. You end up buying your very, very cool snowflake. A good meal:-). I just recently bought a green moray which I have in my predator tank. I love eel's but must tell you they are best kept with there class. Unless you don't want shrimp and other small whatnots in your reef, so whatever you decide will work..good luck with tank

  • awesome tank/fish! it does look much bigger than a 30 gallon, what length is it?

    Thanks.

  • 36 inches, it's a good reef tank. When you have limited space.....

  • what type of lionfish is that?

  • it is red dwarf..

  • wow thats great it looks like a 55 gallon tank!

  • Your gonna need a bigger tank soon! All those fish will outgrow that tank. Actually its already way overstocked. Looks nice though

  • I know, but it does look nice though. Part of the reason being that my filtration allows it. In time you would be more then correct. Thanks for the view and the input...

  • how do you justify your lying???????????

  • how do you fit all those fish in one tank!!

its great, the boxfish is cute and the panther grouper and the EveryTHING!!!

  • hows are you keeping your green mandarin in good health?

  • it looks nice but the fish you got in there are in need of a bigger tank

  • but not all the fish

  • Nice tank!

  • what does a tank like that cost to set up?

  • depending on what you got, if you got the salt water equipment, around 300 for the live rock, but if you dont have the equipment, it can go up to 1000$, depending on the quality

  • how long is a 30 gallon tank cause my bala sharks are gonna have to live in there

  • sorry I meant 30 gallon not 300 gallon *:)

  • Nice tank MisterTanks.

  • hey MisterTanks, what kind of sand did you use for your tank? I want to start a freshwater tank and I was wondering if I could use that type of sand in a freshwater tank.

  • that doesnt look ike a 300 gallon it looks more like a 50 or 75 gallon but what lighting do you use i'm planing on strting up a 75 gallon aquarium but love the tank it is definately in my favorites.

  • Quick question.. ;) Coralife lighting as in Power Compact? Coral;ife's dual linear strip power compact? How many watts does your light put out? Soon starting my 29gal back up.. Thanx!

    ~John.

  • The light comes two 65watt bulbs. Together they put out 130 watts. It is a full spectrum lighting and also comes with Moon lights. It is a pretty sweet system for a bout $230+tax. Good luck with your tank. If your tank is not to deep you can keep anything with these lights......

  • That cowfish needs ALOT bigger tank, also they are not reef safe

  • Thanks for the tip.

  • wow i am loving your tank.

It looks great the fish look reallyt healthy too!

I really want a cowfish in mine but im scared to put it in. lol

    thanks for showing us.

  • Your welcome. And don't be surprised if it gets the Ich. Make sure you don't leave the store without Melafix of some kind of Ich medicine that your Cowfish can stand. Some are to strong and can kill it.

  • You suck. The the tank sucks. This video sucks!

  • how is the cowfish doing in the reef setup?

  • It's doing pretty good and has not given me any problems. Although I must say my first one ate my clam. Other then that for me personally they have worked out great, but there hard to keep. They get ich like nothing. But with some Melafix it's easy to cure.

  • grouper needs bigger tank?...and foxface and lionfish?

    over stocked??

  • getting ready to pull both of them out thanks for "tip"

  • wow nice tank i thought that lion fish were like crazy aggressive with smaller fish like the clown

  • You know I thought that too. But you never know till you try. They really do have individual personality's and I have seen some aggressive one's.

  • Nice setup LOL I hope you have a bigger tank soon day by day your fish are gonna be missing that panther grouper will grow fast man i got two of thems and these bad boys can eat. Its a

  • I thought foxfaces need at least a 55 gallon tank?

  • Thanks for the tip.....
