@admir351 EVERY Anti-Virus is better at one or most things then another, they are all different, Avast could probably get something Rising couldn't and as you say, Rising got something Avast didn't, therefore, it's best you have a secondary Anti-Malware program or Anti-Spyware or both programs to be safe for sure.Even with the worst Anti-Virus software, if you have the right equipment, you're alright.
@oshilzl and if you do your research norton doesnt hog resourses like 2009 version and lower did. All i need is norton 2011 and malwarbytes as my backup and my comp is good to go.
@oshilzl well thats ur opinion. I still like norton 2011 because thats my choice and thats the antivirus most useful for my needs. all that cursing isnt called for.
@144bulldog ESET is really the best, but AVAST 5 and Comodo 5 aren't that far behind. IF you got the money, ESET is great, but if not, then comodo/avast will do.
I said it was perhaps the program trying to secure the PC, migth have been it did not want the program to acess any file :), but it was just a guess ^^.
Thanks for taking the time and effort on this review. You, are right, Rising does not have a white list like Comodo. The HIPS when set on maximum would not be good for a novice.
Mmmm...good review, but you didn't set avast properly: no PUP scan enabled, didn't enable real time scanner to test ALL FILES in writing and reading...
ok dude dis vid is way old... avast 6 or rising 23.00 is better?

@pgdrz41 It all depents on your computer if norton slows down your pc,
on my pc panda cloud is REALLY light on my pc and i installed in other people's,
computer and some of them sad it was really heavy so it all depents.
Norton is heavy on my pc.
p.s. Pm me if you want a free serial for norton.

@wonderlust76 I let it decide for itself which files it decided to detect. I just changed the settings to high...
