Even airsoft guns need to be brightly coloured now, after some guy was shot while holding one - He was mentally ill. There have even been a couple of robberies with real firearms disguised as airsoft. Anyway, I've only got my shotgun certificate so far, I'm applying for a firearms certificate soon. The laws are looser in general.

Would a GSG-5 be appropriate for hunting? I'm in the market for a plinking gun that can also take the occasional rabbit . I'm not sure if I can justify the extra cost of GSG over something like a 10/22, as far as I can see I'd simply be paying for the added "cool factor" of the gun.
