The Japanese version of Muteki is so much better. The US version has the lame lightning bolt symbol instead of the Shinobi kanji on the front.

Ban dai fucked up for US version. When you look at shogun Untrazord they use the toys cause the white shogun zord goes pink. It was miscommunication or summit

@lkirkup No, they deliberately used the US toys because that was what was on the shelves at stores and the point was to shift Titanus backstock.

The white Shogunzord was turned pink for the toy because not everybody watches the show, and to such people it would look like one of the female rangers had been left out had the Zord remained white. They would have cried "zOMG Bandai sexist!" and possibly sued.

what I find weird is that they never repainted the pterodactyl or the firebird..but they added pink to the crane and to the shogun zord...bandi of america was dumb

I think i know why they did repaints: for pink, there had never been amegazord without a pink zord, so for the toy, they made pink zord. For yellow and blue, they were using the zyuranger suits,where the yellow is brighter and the blue is darker, so they changed the color to match that

hey man, i just won a 10.5" version of the muteki shogun on ebay. it's one of those smaller megazords that shoots the fists. there are some cool features though. it gives you a spare set of fists, the sword is the same as the deluxe version, it has light/sound (shinobi lights up), and the shachihoko's are not stickers, they're part of the mold so they are raised up.

that was badass dude. to clarify, no they never used the weapon combo in kakuranger (i have the whole series on dvd), it was just for the toy. btw, where did u get that at and how long ago was it?
