A additional thing, It seems that Christian Vander dont want include Slag Tanz in this next album, because this piece is too different as Felicite Thosz.
@pinkfloydrule27 I have no idea. :D It isn't featured on any of the Magma or Offering albums. I guess Vander still has a lot of previously unused material in his drawer. Thinking about that, a new album would be an awesome idea. But we'll just have to wait and see...
@nohajc I've seen rumours around of a new album featuring Slag Tanz and some other unrecorded stuff coming soon. I haven't heard this piece properly yet so really hope that's true.
@pinkfloydrule27 "Zëss" has always been a piece by Magma. It was first released on the Bobino 1981 CD, and that was recorded before Offering debuted. There's no studio recording available, though. It was rumoured that "Zëss" would be on the upcoming Magma album, but unfortunately, that's not going to happen.
@pinkfloydrule27 Hey there, Vander sang this live with Offering but I do think it was originally with Magma, it corresponds to the "ATTAHK" era. It wasn't studio recorded, but it is on both the live CD and DVD from Bobino 81, if you're looking for it. The version from Bobino is a bit different, as Vander's singing is very powerful and completely insane. I couldn't tell which one I prefer, this 2008 version may be less punchy but still very intense, deep and almost sensual. Cheers.
@pinkfloydrule27 One curious thing about Zess is that even the 30 min version is listed as "extract," though they've never performed the full thing. Vander said somewhere that recorded it would come to five albums in length, but it's hard to tell if that's just wild talk or has reality. Vander has also said that he's sitting on a recording that won't be released until he dies. I've no idea what that's about and I'm in no rush to find out if it means the end of Vander.
When you listen to lots of music, you win some, you loose some. This Stream of Consciousness rendering was just a little too long. lol <<< (plus no English) ss ss ss I did like the ending though.
