Hi! I'm a dog lover and absolutly love all big dogs. I want to know what the best first dog would be? I currently am living in an apartment and will be for the next while. I have been around and have taken care of various dogs big and small but im not sure what breed would suit me. I will be going to university next year so no more that a medium enery dog. Any ideas? thanks!
@wildog47 I live in a condo and have a Australian Shepard this breed of dog is very smart and easy to train but if you are in college and living a busy life it's probly best you don't get a dog just yet and keep baby sitting them because unless you take your dog out like I do 4 to 5 times a day for atleast 15min or a mile or two then it's really not fare to the dog. But if you really want a dog minature is the way to go when you live in confind spaces.
@wildog47 bernese mountain dog! best breed ever. You can resume them in one word: LOVING! They LOVE people, petting, cuddling, walking with you, playing, but also they love to lay down near you while you do other stuff (study, eat, watch tv...)
I just found out about these videos tonite. I have suscribed and plan on impementing them as soon as possible.. what gets me is,... it all makes sense... it seems so simple, yet, ... you need to hear it to know it.
you explain what NOT to do very well however you dont say how to correct the dog for going in the house!!! Whether he is going and you see him or if you find the mess...I was curious as to how YOU would handle it as you seem very experienced. Just say "no" and take him outside?
ughh my thanksgiving was horrible, everyone came to my house and the little kids were so scared of my pitbull because she jumps on people; she means no harm and is really good around people but she scared some of the kids, so therefore, she was scared of them and growling at them. i try to explain to them how dog psychology works but people don't want to listen!
@Twitchyone858 My 10 years old Tanja does the same with her left paw.She has done that ever since she was a puppy. The vet has not found anything wrong, but I suspect that she is doing that too get attention.
you should make a short video about not to physically hit a dog or beat a dog, because on top of all this training some ppl incorporate hitting dogs. It really bothers me because the majority of ppl i talk to do this. It really makes me pissed off and angry.
your music in the beggining is so cacthy i like it!!
