okay, i was interested in playing this game but i don't like getting games that are just solely online multi players that you have to pay to play, you know what i mean. i mean i play runescape but only free account not premium.
@phillip1054 I definitely understand. A "pay to play" model isn't for everyone. And it's a shame that there isn't a single player game out there like STO. I've enjoyed quite a bit of the game, but I think a single player game could definitely cover most of what is there already.
@phillip1054 Star Trek Online is a Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (or MMORPG), which means it is online only. You can play solo, but the game itself is always played online.
I've been enjoying it for four months (ever since closed beta, even with the bugs it had).
As far as customization, you can customize the name, race, appearance, and uniform of yourself and your bridge officers. You also can rename your ship, change the appearance of it (as shown in other videos of mine) and also change the ship registry number. In addition, you can change the equipment that is installed on your ship, too.
