I have this game and NFL Blitz 2000 on the same arcade machine. It weighs like 1000 pounds, but grab a few beers, invite the boys over and it can't be beat!

I actually bought NFL Blitz 99 from this warehouse that sells old ones (the coin slots don't work, but I could care less) and then was able to buy the circuit board for Blitz 2000/NBA Showtime on eBay. I swapped them out (with a shitload of cussing in between because I couldn't figure it out) and there you have it. I think the total cost was about $700, but damnit, it's worth it. Maybe I should fix the coin slots and charge my friends... :)

Yes, there is. There are PlayStation 1 Emulators on the internet for downloading, just Google it. But you gotta have the game.

If you have the original CD for the PlayStation, great! If you don't, try to download the game from the internet, by torrents or something...

They need to bring back NBA Showtime on XBOX 360 Arcade, Mortal Kombat 4, Mortal Kombat Gold, NBA Jam, NBA Jam TE, NBA MAximum Hangimte, Killer Instinct, Killer Instinct Gold, etc! Hell yeah play basketball online 2 on 2 or with a friend against the computer that would rule!

yeah it's the best. ABC refused to pay john tesh the loyalty rights to play that song in its broadcast. even the ESPN and NBA on TNT theme suck compared to that.

After I was finished with NBA Hang Time, I now got into NBA Showtime on N64 recently and I love it, however I get fouls when I push my opponent for the ball, but this is still a better game than the epic failed NBA Jam Extreme.

because NBA JAM EXTREME was made by Acclaim who don't know WTF they're doing, this was made by Midway, the people that made the original NBA JAM and NBA JAM T.E.
