  • "stuck behind the fu*king donkey!"

HA HA! Excellent!Very cool video.Very wonderful town too!

  • Why thank you much on all counts! :-)

  • cool, i want to go to spain, i think its better then mexico

  • It is definitely a beautiful place to visit. Just don't live there! :-)

  • dont live i mexico or spain.

whats wrong with livig in spain.

i know why people dont wana live in mexico.

    kidapigs,murders,drugs, wild indians,

    but whats wrong with spain?

  • Spain is great for fun and partying but if you want anything done, you might as well shoot yourself, it's a more productive act. It is a badly organized society and advancing and making a name for yourself is close to impossible... unless you are monied and know who to bribe! I should know, I was raised there, mistakenly returned and re-observed it all with adult eyes. But for a vacation? Highly recommended...

  • mexico is worse,

i still want to go live there,

i think spain is the homeland for me,

because i am not indian, i dont think of mexico as being my homeland, europe is better then the new world

also, why are spanish girls so stand offish,

they are not like mexican girls,

  • You are making too many generalizations and I can't say that I agree with them. You have to go to these places and experience them fully in order to understand the cultures. I don't think you fully do right now.

  • okay, maybe i dont understand , but i was born and raised in mexico, its rough to live there, i am not talking about cancun , i am talking about ciudad juarez, where women cant walk alone, because they might get raped

  • Wow. I don't envy you that and my heart goes out to you. Yes, Spain is most def better than that! Ciudad Juarez is a tragedy when it comes to violence against women. I bet you have many a story to tell.

  • are you spanish?

    my grandfather is from spain

  • No. I am part Danish, part Iranian but I was raised between Spain and the US... I am a mutt!

  • i am a mutt too, i am french,mexican , and

i think , maybe, just the small towns and country side is backwards in spain, because it cant be that way in madrid, i have spanish freinds from madrid and they say its modren.

i also think thats cool that your iranian,

i really like iran and persian culture,

do you speak farsi, and do you speak spanish?

  • A fellow mutt! Faboo! :-) Sadly, compared to metropolitan American cities, even Madrid and Barcelona are not up to `par, though Barcelona far outdoes Madrid. I lived there for a bit and didn't like it much. My brother is from there and lives there and considers it quite backwards. It all has to do with what we all have experienced as individuals, really. Yep, I speak Farsi, Spanish, Danish, French and English.

  • cool, i have been watching your sevilla videos. very cool.

your a cool person. and you have a great family, cute kids.

i still like spain even if its backwards, in mexico, the drunk men, pee right on the street all the time. maybe you dont like spain so much because your not of hispanic decent. the persian in you makes you look spanish or mexican.maybe denmark is better for you. would you ever consider visiting iran. you have to cover your head, and cant wear shorts. but iran is still cool

  • Why thank you and glad you enjoyed them. I do like Spain but just not to live because it simply does not satisfy me, my needs nor my ambitions though I can understand why many love it. And having been raised there I do consider myself part Latina. San Francisco is the city for me, where I live now, my heaven on Earth! I went to Iran when I was 23. The people and the land were beautiful but the political situation horrible and I won't ever return until that changes.

  • i might go to school in san fran. yeah, since you speak spanish you are part latina, i think nowhere else has the opprutunties as ameirca.so its diffrent in spain, they have a socialist president. iran is good for visiting, but not for living.

  • The Socialist President in Spain has been the best thing to happen to it... he is way more progressive than the country itself. The country needs to catch up but yeah, as far as opportunities go, there is truly no place like America and no city like San Francisco so, if you can, this is the place to be! Live it up! :-)

  • no, the socialist president is somewhat okay, but its not good for spain, my freind is spanish and she says people from the domican republic , north africa, south american contries, come to live in spain and live off the social programs, welfare and healthcare, and never work at all. alot of people hate this guy, but hey is not that bad of a socialist compared to hugeo chavez, and the president talked down to him and the king of spain told chavez to shut up

  • He is actually great for the country. Your friend might be a rightist and I do admit to being a leftist so... politics as usual I suppose.

  • your not as far left as huego chaviz,

or fidel castro, cuz that is pretty far left,

anyway, i am going to go to art school in either L.A or san fransisco, which is better?

  • I am as far left as Green Party (to a certain extent as I am Independent) San Francisco style... as for Chavez and Castro being considered leftist that is subject to interpretation as I would say they have jumped ship and over to dictatorship as the people don't truly have a choice... SF is very famous for the Academy of Art and the experience of living here far surpasses LA... but I am biased and a total San Franciscan so...

  • yeah, i was thinking about going to the acadamey of art univ, but san fran is a small town compared to L.A.

  • Whatever rings your bell...

  • i hear people talking bad about america and its pissing me off, we were just saying, how america is good

  • Where are you? Do you not live in the country?

  • I live in El Paso TX,

across the border form cd.juarez mx.

but i lived all over the us.

  • Ah! I see... mystery solved! ;-P

  • sounds like the USA

  • How?

  • read what apta below me typed. if you still don't understand i can't help you

  • Well, apta's comments are not accurate seeing that she has never lived in Spain so...

And I don't need your help thank you very much...

  • hi,just browsing, agree about the donkeys,i hear some brits have started a refuge there for them, live part yr.alhaurin but agree mijas is like still in time, apart from the shops.love the people, they seem friendlier away from the coast.all the best.

  • That's great and heartwarming to hear as animal rights is not very big, unfortunately, in Spain.

As for the people, you will find all kinds both by the coast and inland but, all in all, they are great for vacationing, as is the south, but to live it can leave much to be desired! Thank you much for the comment!

  • Thanks a lot for the video..It bring back my memory when im there..Malaga is a best place to visit...Mijas is such a beautiful place to visit and beautiful scenery..Thanks..Lots of nice gifts u can buy there.hehehe..

  • Well, it sounds like you truly loved it so I hope you get to visit again... and yeah, Mijas is quite the tourist mecca though deservedly so as it is a beautiful place!

  • Check out the cruelty to the Mijas donkeys, friends. They are constantly hit, and the nose gear is almost never removed, some noses infected down to the bone. Enjoy your little trip.

  • My little trip did not involve donkey cruelty nor did I ride them nor do I condone their use and abuse... I am a vegetarian and animal rights activist for those very reasons so do your research before passively hinting at what you know not about... and by the way, I agree with you.

  • Thank you! No research needed, no passive hinting, just a comment and suggestion on the terrible situation. I am so glad you are active for the animals; the abuse and cruelty around animals has changed my life forever and I can never again see the world as it was before. We are vegetarian also. Keep up the good work! Where are you located (approx)?

  • Well, I apologize if I misunderstood! We lived in Spain for 3 awful years and just made it back home to San Francisco and it is FABULOUS to be back in a green city with kindred veggie spirits! Glad to hear you are of like mind & as for the donkeys, my kids wanted to ride them, being kids, but we didn't let them for the very reason that we find their lives and treatment utterly cruel.

  • vegetarians. vegans. idiots.

  • Judging from your profile you are probably a submissive-brainwashed-got-no-mind-of-her-own-intolerant-Republicanish cunt... yeah... that must be it.

  • Maybe i'll go there some day... sounds great :D

  • It is... though I much prefer San Francisco. Yeah, a nonsequiturian comment but there you have it! ;-)

  • Is it far away?

  • It is a mountain town 1 1/2 hours from the coast but truly worth visiting. It is at its most beautiful in the winter when the surroundings are green and lush. Summertime is too dry.

  • yeah.. i was there but it's been a while... i come every vinter to fuengirola and sometimes i go up to mijas to just look at the sights

  • I can see why. We always take guests there. A place to make it to, esp in winter, if you can, is Ronda. Breathtaking as well!

  • the curch up there is beautiful

  • Yes it is... Mijas is a beautiful town and simply amazing & a very typical white Spanish pueblo... have you been there?

  • Small world - we were in Mijas on the same day! The woman in the shop who told you your child had a girly face also got upset with my youngest for touching the toys on sale outside the shop - jeez! What was with all the ornamental cabbages too?

  • Small world indeed!!! Imagine that! And so here we meet on YouTube! I wonder if we passed each other on the street! DIOS MIO!
