You will get steamrolled by any competently fit Nightmare. Since you have a passive shield tank and shield power relays it means you're got an incredibly poor cap recharge, single heavy neut will fuck over your cap and you won't be able to get it back to active those hardeners. Not to mention a Nightmare can easily put out more than enough DPS to break your tank even with hardeners on.

Nice win on this. I'm curious what the sabre's were setup to do. 4 mids helps at lot with painting and ewar, but don't see a lot of them in this contest, even with their speed.

If those Ishkurs had brought webs, then the scimitar might have gone down, but they couldn't have broken the rest, I don't think. And two drakes was a mistake, IMHO.

I'm a little unhappy that Goon used pulses on the nightmares, the DPS significantly drops when you switch from Tachyons to Pulses, although they still did well. I am liking the 2 golems and their use of target painters, helps so much when they use torpedoes.

Torp golems and nightmares, both put out amazing amounts of dps. With 4 of them its not really a suprise that the RAZOR golems and drakes melted. All in all a very DPS heavy team.

Razor just took far too long to get any dps down. They decided to go for support with battleships (?) and by the time the managed to kill the 3 destroyers they had already lost all of their repping, most of the ewar, and a third of their dps

Awsome man, just a little friendly advice....join a good corporation as soon as you can, its the best way to learn, get help, and to survive. also dont give up. it may take u a month to get the hang of the basics of the game, but if u stick with it, it is the best mmo out there.

Sabres on their own are pretty good for bringing down frigates. They also cost one more point than a destroyer, so why not? Generally speaking, the enemy is less likely to primary them in this setting instead of a fleet, as their's no reason to bubble. That alone keeps them from being flying coffins, can't say if habit won't take over and they still get primaried like in this fight, though.
