  • did you think the car will fly 70 meters in the air you litle cokc

  • What is the point of owning a camera you can't use ?

  • Outstanding cameraman skills

  • Has no driving skills

  • he can't drive, you can't film, don't slag him off....

  • novice driver, eh?

  • Jackass to driver

  • in the film he said 1st lap..so i guess the tires haven't heat up properly yet.

  • trail braking + throttle lift = wreck.

  • what a wanker! (camera man)

  • GO SPEED RACER GO!

  • What do you see in the sky???? UFO???

  • vtec kicked in

  • bad driving

even worse filming. in fact you both over corrected

did you actually think when the honda hit the wall it was going to fly 50ft in the air?

  • did ya see a bird, plane, maybe superman? or did u just want to look at a pretty cloud when theres a honda crashing below you...

  • Anybody else see it close its eyes at the end of the roll? Haha.

  • @DvvdJD it was like: AWWWWW

    RIP

  • Truly amazing camera work

  • dude im 17 and i couldve corrected that corner better then this guy.

  • @InsanityRewritten

agree, proof that money doesn't mean that you're a good driver

  • @InsanityRewritten he pumped the gas... what a NOOB. Lol

  • fucking english man cant even hold the cam correct

  • Man, that snap back is always kicking my ass in gt5!!

  • shoulda stayed on the gas

  • @cfb36 thats what i was thinking

  • Why don't we stop about the driving, and concentrate on the downs syndrome camera skills.

    Sort it out.

  • real bad driver, car already made the turn.

  • yes...he does NOT know how to drive.. he would have been better spinning out in the original direction he was going... oh well. you live and you learn.

  • why wouls that dumbass whip it left.. he had it under control until he tried to turn the other way.. he coulda came thru with that turn.. learn how to drive dumbass

  • Anyone notice the guy screaming at the dude in the R32 sayin "slow down" haha.

  • Thats whats up. The other nsx drivers seen a fellow nsx has crshed and they imidietly park on the side of the track and try to help him out. They didnt care and the race anymore. Thats why the Japanese are cool people (except with the gay anime and crap like that).

  • @diablo93ib lol JapFest is an event held in the UK not Japan.

  • @AFR1i lol, he thought Castle Combe was in Japan lol, after all it really sounds Japanese :-)

  • @diablo93ib they also don't care about the race because it was canceled the man with the red flag?

  • thats whats up. The other racers where like fuck the race let me help out a fellow racer in his nsx. They literally parked on the side of the track to help this guy out. Thats what you call true people. I dont give a fuck what ppl say "Japan its whats up"

  • Damnnn! Hope the driver is safe though. The NSX can be fixed.

  • that almost turned out to be a nice drift

  • you know if he kept that, that would of been right on the limit and it would've actually been pretty pro! guess not

  • That was one hell of a bad driver.

  • "Oohohooo NICE!!" ...........Really?

  • thats alot of fuckin NSX's

  • that mind friend is called a tank slapper

  • sad camera man you missed the impact D:

  • You might wanna say, VTEC just kicked in yooooooooooooo.

  • aww poor nsx its a beautiful car

  • should have blipped the throttle.

  • is fine thatll buff right out

  • Ha the joys of lift off oversteer. Top work driver.

  • OMG Thats so sad to do to a JDM car :(

  • Thanks for filming the sky at just the right moment...

  • yah. hold the fukin camera still

  • FUCKING IDIOT CAMERAMAN!! Learn how to shoot video dumbass!!

  • Thats not a safe corner to begin with.

Besides that the nsx is known to have a bite when you least aspect (Especialy the 92-95 models)

Seen the same thing happen with a friends nsx. (luckely not to much damage)

The 2005 type-r models are way better.

OurgateProductions explaind it verry well [tumbs]

  • That bend needs changing. This kind of crash happens all the time there. Should be more run off or something (granted that would be difficult because of where the paddock is).

  • juz get a AWD next time~ with lots of airbag~ have fun but safe~

  • @zkyfengix

What a lame bit of advise!! Get AWD my a**e

  • damn walls

  • rather he bury it and spin out on the track and look a bad driver, than snap it over, and wreck a great car :/, and how the fuck he managed to roll it is anyones guess lol

  • haha... Looks like ill be playing more Forza since I woke up this wonderful christmas morning and found my PS3 broke overnight somehow...

I guess Santa had a late night session and rage smashed it. :(

Ironicly I bought my PS3, because my Xbox360 had died. Funny how the world works aint it?

  • wow drive like that when you don`t know how to drive?

  • I bet if he played Forza alot he would have made it =)

  • @v6turbota fuck forza. gt5 ftw

  • Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!

  • what i cant believe is that the show is called "japfest"

thats amazing that people still use that word, even more so that its the title of a big event

do they have resturants in the uk called gookfest or chinkfest too?

  • OUCH! I cant watch this anymore.. I love that car.. lol

  • ooh... come on every 1 could saw that coming noob driver XD

  • @timdeowner

You're calling some a noob driver when you refer to blue lug nuts as

"bleu screws in the weels fix everything XD"

    You're a fucking idiot.

  • AHH NICE!!

  • @Katlunazul I think he was caught up in the horror.

  • I hope he's packing racing insurance.

  • he should have played some grand turismo to get that turning down

  • @fatqwert200 lmao!

  • Well that fucking sucks!!! I hear thanks to the aluminum body, Nsx's cant really be mended either.. pity.

  • @bliglum

I'm not 100% sure, I'm not a Honda expert but I think it's because some parts of the car are titanium.

That's why they can't mend it, because titanium is to hard to work with. It has to be pressed into shape under high pressure and temperature.

The engine is an aluminium composition.

I'm sure some other parts are just aluminium too.

A friend of mine drove his NSX into a wall once, at a descent speed.

And the car didn't have a scratch. ;)

  • @bliglum

They will replace the titanium parts, not mend it.

So the car will be fine again.

  • fuck you camera man. nice what you nice? idiot off 2007

  • its like each car took a knee for its injured teamate

  • Two dipshits in this video, the driver and the person operating the camera.

  • how come most of dem racin crashes i seen on youtube looks JUST like that...

  • NSX, NSX,NSX, NSX, NSX, SKYLINE, NSX, NSX, NSX.

  • Given the nsx abilities, i'm surprised he made it that far

  • @Katlunazul second that lol

  • this happen every time to me in GT4 and GT5P when I play with the pad lol

  • awww you stupid son of a bitch you broke my car

  • thats like killing a unicorn... with a bomb

  • y cant people ever hold a camera straight? its not hard.

  • owwwww, thats sucks MAJOR balls, i feel sorry for that guy

  • @nofrillstissues i feel sorry for the nsx... lol

  • '' Yea i think that is the guy who was following me in''

    ''How do you know''

    ''He was drivin a NSX''

  • @maddi2k9 It was silver like that one too... and that one...and that one...

  • I hate you!!! I hate you I hate you!!!

  • NOT A NSX.... COMMON never smash a Honda or any jap car!!!!!!!

  • pfft that car is fixable ive seen cars in worse shape hit the road once again.

  • MR strikes again, sucks

  • I saw this happen in front of me! Can't believe it was 3 years ago!

  • whoa...this was a total lack of correction skill which is why he gripped really well in the opposite direction. Right into the dirt and wall

  • dumbass, there goes your $30-50k. he shoulda been slowly turning the wheel left til it got straightened out. WAY over-corrected, shouldnt be on a track if you wont know how to drive. im sure its just some rich fag, he'll go but another one.

  • Safety car drivers are twats. fucking retarded shit bastards. drivers wannabe. many times i have seen problems with safety cars drivers even in live.

  • you should rename the video: video footage of the sky and grassy knoll

  • sweet video of the sky dude

  • now thats a death whip! lol

  • more GASSSSS!! I say that everytime i watch this. yeah camera mans a DB

  • Oversteer into the corner which he fixed but letting the gas off into another oversteer.

bah, could have been avoided if he stayed on the gas.

  • @Katlunazul I agree !!!

  • why is it that people can't keep the fuckin camera still at that crucial moment?

  • @pallymeat it pisses me off too! >:(

  • reminds me of eve online, dont drive what you cant afford to lose.

  • ...very sad.

  • wow as if you missed it. you were focused on the car the entire time up until right when it crashed.

  • Pure panic!! The great late CM had the best quote for when something like this happends "when in dought, pin it!

Pour guy, hope he is ok!

  • that suck to be him. poor nsx. should of just kept on letting it slid the direction it was going.

  • sweeet ass skyline!

camera man you suck. right when hes spinning out you put the camera up

  • I hope that he came through it alright.

  • yup. i learned the hard way not to let off the throttle as the same happened to me in a high speed left that crested a small incline as it apexed. off i went into the curb at 80 mph, it was a public steet although empty. 5000 in suspension damage.

  • Too bad not many can follow this quote :(

  • just like the others are saying -- classic case of an easy-to-grasp concept. Poor guy, but he really should have known better before going out on the track, or at least played some gran turismo :P

  • Mid-Field race track or Trail Mountain FTW!

  • man if i made a nsx flip over ... waste of 80k but its a nice carr.. shoulda hit the handbrake right before the oversteer. woulda stopped the car =P

  • Classic power off snap oversteer. He came in a bit hot which led to oversteer. He corrected the oversteer (well) and actually had the car in a nice drift, but paniced and took the power off. Now all of the weight is transferred to the front of the car and the rear goes light. So now the little bit of countersteer holding the drift becomes too much and the car snap oversteers to the left. This will happen in any car, but can be more violent on mid rear engine cars, al la Porsche 911.

  • EXACTLY.perfect explanation. you must be a pro.

  • No not a Pro LOL :-) I drive Speed Hillclimb and do some track days in my Impreza Type RA. I have posted a video on this page showing oversteer correction with power held at around 87MPH on a speed Hillclimb run. I hope that it helps explain to others that snapping the throttle shut is the worst thing to do when you sense oversteer. But it is one of the hardest things to learn.

  • Comment removed

  • You Tube wont allow me to post the video here.

If you would like to see the video, then Click on my profile and view the video labelled:

Impreza Type RA running at Gurston Down Speed Hillclimb.

The oversteer occurs 54 seconds into the video, but I corrected it very quickly as there is no room for error on Speed Hillclimb tracks.

  • Awesome explanation man!

  • @OurgateProductions

it happens to s2000s alot and the snap oversteer in the s2000 is very quick and violent.

  • @esean931

I have not driven the S2000, I used to sprint an MR2 and that could get twitchy when on the limit ;-) it's the old Porsche 911 mid engine thing, take off the power and it kills you. Some say just let go of the wheel and the 911 will right itself for you.

  • @OurgateProductions

Mid-engined cars are alot of fun though so i think its worth the extra effort.

911 probably does straighten out itself but i wouldnt try it unless i have enough room lol.

  • @esean931

    Yep :-)

    Lol.

  • "it's the old Porsche 911 mid engine thing"

    Porsche 911 have rear engines

  • Well that will make the effect even worse then wont it ;-)

You need to get out more Chris !

  • Well.. in this case the guy just over-corrected it twice and ended snapping against the wall..

Perhaps next time you notice that you over corrected it take you right foot from that shiny meal thing called throttle.. that could work..

I dont really think its the car's fault, if you try to get out of a corner like that you should be able to balance the car and correct it smoothly.. otherwise you'll end up having a crash..

    Its a shame that nsx..

  • "Perhaps next time you notice that you over corrected it take you right foot from that shiny meal thing called throttle.. that could work.."

I am pretty sure that this is EXACTLY what he did and what induced the snap oversteer. Getting off the throttle in that situation is the worst thing you can do.

  • Yes Chris,

    You are 110% correct.

  • Well, that depends..

If you take the gas off when the car is oversteering, its ok, if you do it when the car is starting to snap the other way, like he did, you'll have serious snap oversteer!

So basically we're saying the same thing, i just explained myself wrong.

Still.. its a shame that nsx :(

  • so umean when he oversteer and corrected he should have continue pushing the throttle to still move forward instead of just letting it snap sideways?

  • @ChrisZang indeed. when in doubt, throttle it out.

  • so in the moment when he entered the corner drifting very fast and with oversteer the driver should've have kept accelerating to enter straight or what ? what I should've done is in the moment of oversteering clutch in pull de E brake while movin the steering wheel in the same position he entered and then opposite as then release the ebreak as result he would do 360° turn but in those moments of panic no one knows how to correct in a blink of an eye

  • or just keeping the same speed accelerating?

  • @OurgateProductions Except that the 911 is rear-engine =) but yeah good description of power off, I drive an MR2 and have had a sketchy moment or 2....not fun.

  • @OurgateProductions Thanks. Nice explanation without lots of jargon. Well done.

  • @OurgateProductions better brake as much as you can when you notice. but natural reaction is trying to take control and countersteer. :S

  • @Nicknamenowused "Braking Hard as you can" Well normally that wont help, but when you know that your beat then braking is the best damage limitation action.

It's the hardest thing to learn, DONT LIFT OFF THE POWER, but when you learn it and you have oversteer situation you handle the problem more calmley. The NSX was in a drift pointing towards a huge grass area, the other option is 10 feet of wet grass and hard stuff. I know which way I would like my car to go ;-) but that's easy Said !

  • @OurgateProductions Or lift off the power slowly. This happends a lot when people go to the track for the first time in their lives..

  • @dontjepko Agreed ;-)

  • @Nicknamenowused brake as much as you can? Yeah if you want to spin out as much as you can.

  • @OurgateProductions I didnt even notice till you said somthing,Your absolutly right.

  • AND that ladies and gentalmen is why you do not get a mid engine car if you have no driving talent whatso-ever! You just saw the classic pendulum effect that you get with mid-engined cars if you don't know what you are doing. Looks like they learned the hard way!

  • you should let it spin out !! :(

  • haha

  • LOL

  • that made me sad

  • Funny i imply the same thing as vi0007, but you idiots needed it dumbed down lol

  • Ya dam0cles1 It's people who don't understand what i'm talking about that give street racing, and road racing a bad name.

If you don't know how to "Race" than dont drive like a "Race car driver" There is an actual science to racing, But it's ok Give me thumbs down im the one out there really racing, and your sitting your watching videos, posting no personal video responses, LOL at you, go crash your Gran AM

  • NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

  • </3

  • i wanna cry =_(.. Poor NSX... makes me not want to abuse my C30A...

  • :(((( its happens to the best cars too

  • if he down shift... he could've gotten better grip...

  • That was agonizing to watch.

  • when the camera was on the car...

    still, heartbreaking :(

  • Damn!!

    that sucks!

i would sill tow it home and rebuild it

  • Damn :( feel sorry for both this epic car and the driver.

  • Szkoda ładne NSX było. Ale i tak sie mocno nie rozpieprzyło;)

  • Well kinda bad driving. With so big pressure on the rear left wheel reverse(left) steering should be done MUCH more slow and smooth.Double wishbones give perfect controll on the powerslide but the steering wheel should be straight in a lower motion. Also there is a thing called "slow in fast out".Anyway he didnt hurt so its ok.

  • LOL~

  • I died a little inside

  • looks like he countered turned too much its very difficult to go outta control in an NSX

  • poor nsx!!

  • o.0

  • Time for the pace-car?

  • Another noob off the track.

  • Only one Skyline in there, WTF, its ok, understandable, sorry about the car dude, just don't push so much out of the corner

  • tank slapper

  • he think's his in the game GT-5 in PS3~~~
