The handgun Leon has is definitely tuned up pretty well cause it only takes two shots to kill an enemy. Sometimes even one when you aim at the head. Blacktail is useful for the big guys. Just go up close to them (except dr.salvador) and shoot them in the face with the blacktail, takes 3-4 shots. As for dr.salvador, there's another way around that... when he jumps up the ladder you'll get the opportunity to spam his face with shells.

WTF are you guys talking about, the Blacktail does NOT suck. I get one-hit one-kill headshots all the time. Anyways, its not always a good idea to kill as fast as possible, sometimes you have to pace yourself and allow more enemies to come at you to chain longer combos. I find myself using the Blacktail more becaused I've honed my accuracy and aim with it over the years I've played. I'll try to upload a vid sometime.

the shotty is powerfull but the blacktail sucks, i only use the black tail for doors/barrels and the shotty for the enemies. leon owns and this guy owns playing leon.
