  • good hypnosis i think u r tryin to frek us by that lousy sound

  • =o lol

  • wooooooooouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu my goddddddddddddddd

  • still its amazing instant!? takes me 5 minutes to put people in trance

  • how do you do it?

  • so when theyre asleep you can make em do something when they wake up

  • will this work even if you know what's going to happen, like if you know, he's going to do something unexpected, do you still fall "asleep"?

  • i believe he scares you by yelling "sleep" freaks you out a bit and causes you to close your eyes, therefor he uses that against you to knock you down to a hypnotic state

  • Well, from what I've read, there is usually some kind of shock to the subconscious before sleep is said.

  • arm pull

  • More or less. Most of the students seem to be taking advantage of a pattern interrupt, usually seen with a handshake (or a high five, as demonstrated by one student). It's a pattern your brain is used to handling without you thinking about it. When the hypnotist doesn't complete the pattern, but does something unexpected, like take your hand and place it on your head, it gives him a very short window to give suggestions like "sleep."

  • hypnotize*

    pleasee?!

  • dude! can you hupnotize me?!

  • I like the "High Five Induction" SSOOOOO MUCH!

    <3

Shame i didnt come up with that!

    That looked sooo nice.

    Sweet!

  • well kudos to you and your class sean! very impressive stuff here, if only i learned half that well back in school ha. Anyway, got a question for you - I have a party comming up and I was thinking about doing some hypnosis there. My question is would a confusion induction work on more that one person at a time (e.g the handshake interupt?). I would imagine that if somebody just saw you use this technique, it would not work on them as they know what you are about yo do.

  • Jamie:

It would work if they really wanted to go into hypnosis, but you are right, you won't be able to catch them off guard after you do the first one. At a party, I would probably do hand drops and arm pulls and then do one of the handshake interrupts later.

    Have Fun!

    -Sean

  • id go with sean on this one.

but remember, whichever technique you use, the person standing/sitting next to the volunteer your putting in trance will already be expecting to go under..so instant/rapid inductions are go,go,go.... :o)

  • Sean, looks like you folks had a LOT of fun! - Brian

  • They did, Brian! They were ANIMALS!!! They dropped (I mean safely hypnotized) over 50 people. It was a blast!

    -Sean

  • His trainees had a GREAT time!

  • I taught him the concept of re-direction, but he made up the induction himself. I thought is was pretty cool too!

  • I like the one about 35 seconds into the video where the kid goes to give some lady a high five and then does the hand to face induction. Did you teach him that or was that his personal spin?

  • Nice video Sean. Looks like your trainees had a great time!

Some of them are knocking them over like a pro already (especially that old fella with the moustache at around 0:43! hehehe)

    Hope to catch up soon!

    Reg

  • Thanks Reg! Yes, they had fun and knocked down over 50 people that day. I don't know where that old fella came from. :-)

    -Sean
