Great piece! Some years ago they made some promotion for it on German radio. "The message" has captured me immediately and wondered if this was to become another superhit. Well, in the end they "threw me the CD" because it remained rather unsuccessful. Nate James and "The Message" - both are completely unknown here. Don't know why, it's a great piece to listen and feel good, especially after a hard week is done.

@lovemjalways1 you meant productionwise? dunno, it's a matter of taste, i like 70's recordings, 40's recordings, they're raw, with a lot of mistakes. although it's applied subtly, i just think nates voice doesn't need to be autotuned, it takes away authenticity. everyone sounds the same, but he has a great voice. it's ironic because the lyrics refer to the 70's, but in my opinion this song has nothing to do with the musical view of that era. don't get me wrong, i like it, i bought the record.
