@wizersage Yeah, he's from Destiny, but the other two in that trio are from Eternia.

Oh, and it was originally supposed to be a 4 person cameo fight, with Rutee as the fourth person, but for some reason they removed her before they released the game.

You can find videos on YouTube showing some people hacking the game to use her character model in ToS (it's still on the disk).

They can play as whoever they want. Rutee is a good healer and theif not everyone wants to play as the sword fighter or the main. My boyfriend plays as all the Mains and it's not because he claims them it's because I prefer the healer class. Woop de doo huh? xD

I'm trying to fend off these in chaos mode in director's cut. I'm with a lv 80 party, and currently it is completely impossible (Director's cut nerfed flash).

No, Destiny Remake is newer, it was released on November 30th, 2006.

Just think of it as a cameo battle with hats as the cameos.

Actually, there is a cameo battle in this game, Veigue Lungberg from Tales of Rebirth appears in the EX dungeon as a boss. I just remembered. XD

No offense to your win, and it's obviously well-deserved, but after brought it down to three, I would've attempted to bring back the party. It just seemed so cheap using Embrace End and Trick Star OVER and OVER. I mean, it was your only chance, but there was also the fact that you could have fought other monsters to get stronger, right?

True, I could have leveled up a bit, but I didn't want to bother with training up for awhile, and I didn't want to get too over-powered for when I went to Dycroft.

It might have been a bit cheap, but all I wanted to do was win the fight, even if it wasn't the best looking battle. ;)

I surprised they picked Race of all people though. He was the least looked at character in Eternia. I guess they picked him because he had a hat X3

They didn't give Race's character much development? (ToE is one of the few I've yet to play, so I don't know anything about him, except what he looks like.)

I wonder exactly how many other Tales characters have a hat anyway.

Me too. Though I wonder how she voiced a certain someone. Well Race was a minor character in terms of being an ally. He had little screentime, and when he you did find out the truth to him, it wasn't enough of a shocker to me. Guess it's because he wasn't part of the main party. Let's see: ToP: Klarth ToD: Johnny ToE: Chat and Race ToD2: Does Judas' mask helmet thing count? ToS: No one by default ToR: Hilda ToL: Chloe TotA: Once again, no one by default

So leaving him out, and Johnny too, since he's in this game, that really only leaves 5 possible hat choices for them to have picked (unless we forgot someone).

I guess maybe they picked Race over Chat since Race had little screentime in his game.

Nah, my second playthrough will be all Chaos Mode.

I've used a password to unlock Evil and Chaos for this playthrough, so I'll probably record the final boss on Evil. :D

I know what it's like to have your party die over and over to the point you just solo the damn thing(s). *glares at ToL* I find these guys very amusing, don't you?

It's also rather funny they picked the characters with uber hats.

Yeah, they're definitely amusing, and their attacks are pretty funny, like the Konnichiwa attack.

Each of them seem to have something from their original characters, like Klarth's Gentlemen has a spellcasting book, and Hilda's Gentlemen has her horns, which it uses to ram the party... pretty dangerous if you don't block it with flash.

I know I've seen the Gentlemen before in ToL, I believe they had some of the same basic attacks, just without any cameo hats on them. I wonder if any of the other Tales games have them.

Gentlemen are also found in ToS, can't remember where, but maybe near Altamira. Rare enemy though.

Yes, their called clay figures or something, in the Earth dungeon. Their all orange-brown and not nearly as tough as these guys XD

Ah I see, I'm not far in ToL, just chapter 5. I can't wait to see them in there, I really enjoy ToL despite a few problems, it battles ToDr with my favoriteness. XD

Yeah, ToL is a great game, still one of my favorites, it had really good character development.

I can't remember if I saw the Gentlemen during the main quest, or if it was later in the character quests, it's been alittle while since I played.

But I'm pretty sure they show up in some area in random battles.

I used Flash alot to avoid taking damage, it makes you invincible for a very short period of time.
