  • Wow... maybe you should be doing hunters until you are prepared for the jumper ring... your horse looks extremely slow and quite honestly your kicking isn't doing much... your horse is not responsive to your kicks at all.... meaning you perhaps need a crop or just to keep steady leg pressure on instead of kicking. You have ruined your horses respect for the kick and it takes a lot to make him acknowledge it again. Good luck in the future.

  • HRŮŮŮŮŮŮŮŮZA

  • Dont Say anything Nasty Because their giving it a go!

  • you kicked the pony before the first jump.

  • that was pretty good, except that when you kicked the pony your legs went up and back into the "buck zone"

but otherwise that was really good

  • You've come on so much since then :)

  • ur position was fixed forward with ur leg back, if u sat up straight and kept ur leg down, ur position would make it easier for your pony to understand what to do and go forwards... you should supple up when doing your forward position too.

  • actually that was really really good! i have had mt pony since november 2008 and im just getting to actually riding him good but for you having that horse for a few months holly molly just think of how good youll get in a year!

  • try not 2 kick cause i can c ur legs coming off the horse...use a crop or squeeze

  • the pony could be stubburn i know alot of ponies you have to kick as hard as you want and theyu will not move a muscle

  • that ride was actually ok,,,,, just try to use a little more crop or squueze more so the judge doesnt see ur legs coming off the horse.... just a helpful hint! :)

  • I'm not brilliant, I know that. But I enjoy what I do and to me, thats all that matters. I was 14 when this was filmed and that was over a year ago now. Ive improved a lot. And I don't care about comments from ten year olds who can't spell. Congratulations for being better than me because really, thats not difficult. But I don't post nasty comments on other peoples videos like you.

  • WEll sorry i just expect well riding

  • not everyone is a great rider!!!

im 14 and shes a better rider than me, you dont know when she started riding u never know she could of only been riding for 2 months before this show (highley unlikly thought no offence) but just fuckin get a life!

  • i have one fyi I' a pony hunter kid and there on the ball so u can't exspect poor riding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • you should definetly use a crop and not kick. and you should work more on flatwork, then start again on small jumps. pretty good riding, though.

  • omg you can't riding!!! lokk up your hands und yout foots ! und the horse haven't fun :'( poor horse ! but it's ok

  • your a good rider but maybe you should try smaller jumps. Also, keep your hands still, head up, sit up straight, and squeeze with your legs instead of kick. once you get your legs steady, you might want to try using spures. gr8 ride

  • I was thinking first "nice", but then I look your sitting, hands and feet, and I was like WTF...

Sit straight, don't kick your horse and keep your hands like L.

    Use whip, don't kick :P

  • haha omg those cowboy kicks are soo funny! subtlety is key when riding. nice riding tho

  • heyy good ridingg,,

the only advice i could give you i not flap your legs so much and sit up

    but gurrd try =]

  • aww cute pony and good riding. i would try to sit up a bit more and try not to lean forwards as well as trying to lower your hands abit. but very good

  • my pony, Spirit is disobediant, so he barley ever wants to trot or gallop! my aunts horse, Jappy, is VERY obediant though

  • shit! lol! i laughed when you shouted that out haha =] i think your a great jumper :)

  • 'Oh shit' competitive much? lol, nice horse and good riding, it might help if you didnt kick so much and use nudges instead ;)

  • do yoyu use a crop on him?

  • LOL! I did that too but in BSJA oops.

I was jumping the 1.25m novice class and we went over a jump and I thought I knocked it down and everyone was real quiet and I shouted out Oh F*ck!

  • Hey i No you..x

     =D

  • i wish people didn't try to give riding lessons through comments. We all started somewhere! lol you'll get there, keep riding =]

  • lol!

  • AWE shit that was funny when you said that cause of your acent! lol. Nice horseie

  • ha ha yeah I dont like my accent on camera. It was really stupid of me to curse like that but it makes me laugh!:)

  • oh wow! coolio! lol =] im so bad apparently that im not even jumping lol =] u r a good rider though =]

  • omg

I always used to flap before the jump aswell.

I dont know why it just became habbit.

I cant remember how i stopped either haha but i did.

Anyway, lovley horse, good luck for the future.

    xx

  • dont worry if u work on ur flatwork u wil b able 2 jump massive like 3 foot and bigger :)

    x

  • Thank you! :) My flatworks better now, but I still have the awful habit of kicking Magnum before the fence.

  • the jumping is reli good but u just need 2 work on ur flat otherwise it was reli gd.

  • Bear in mind this was months ago. Ive improved. Im not trying to say Im Jessica Kurten, I know Im not brilliant. As long as I enjoy it I dont mind if Im crap.

  • i think you shol work on your flatwork,

  • why do ppl flap ther legs to make em go :S

you dnt even need to do that it looks so untidy

  • Oh my god, He's so cute!!!

  • very good i have a tip myb insturctor told me to try to straighte my baack out and ridw like you won the c omp

  • 1. I want my own horse (bout the size of ur pony)

    2. I wish i start shojumping(i can but i'm moving to another country)

    3. I hope i can practice more circuits of jumps:P

  • your a pretty good rider....no bad things to say just that you might want to work a little bit on flatwork and making your pony more orward so you dont have to be out o your seat squeezing the whole time, its not your fault just might want to try that, otherwise nicee. :)

  • I WANT THAT PONY!!!!

  • omg cutest pony evr

  • thankyou!

  • hey! Well done! every1 has bad days! Bt ye still got clear so dats dedli! Where was this show? the course looks very familiar te the one my friend did a few months ago!

  • welldone :) u werent that bad :) at least u got clear... i hate people who critise when u do summit wrong... its all about developing ur own style. and all u gotta do is get clear :) thats wt its all about :)i used to loan a horse cob hanoverian and she was tidy but she used to loose balance and it made her look untide when jumping... i was in a class with 12hh ponies and i was like the only horse in there of 15.2 and out of 12 ponies and me i came 4th :) i was so happy :D

  • yep your ponys great.

u should be very lucky u have such an awesome pony!!!

  • Yeah I know. Its a really bad habit!

  • you should stop flapping ur legs...ur sposd to squeeze.... nd dont push with ur hands.

  • Thankyou! The final of the league is on Sunday so I cant wait! Ive spent the last while teaching him how to be more responsive and he is going well. Sometimes I am a wee bit hard on myself. Thanks for the comment I really appreciate it!

  • hey

how did u get on last weekend?

ive got a new vid ov me nd boots up now take a look if u wnt :)

good luck in the final if urgoin there :)

  • Hey! My internet was broke for ages. Ive got a new video of the final to put up! We went excellent got a double clear so when I get a chance i'll upload it.

  • i thought for someone who has only been with the horse a few months, you did well! I think youll go so much further when your horse is a bit more forward from you leg, but as you said you are doing more work now - dont put yourself down you did really well!

  • Where is this the RDS or somewhee up North, i saw a advert for Omagh???

  • he looks sooo much like my old pony ginger its scary lol well i supose its hard to tell on a vid but i think he does lol

take a look at my vid c wat u think lol

  • i agree.

hope you do really well :)

  • Thankyou! Yeah I shouted at him at 1:40 and it was a bit harsh because he always gives his best and its up to me to keep him in canter. I also tend to give him a kick before fences because Im nervous. Ive been going to shows since November. I got Magnum in December after a very bad experience with my first pony, Cisco. Ive been jumping for about a year now but I dont jump very high!

  • wow u did really well then!!!!

yeah i used to do that because of nerves aswell but ive been jumping for for years now. i still get nervous occasionally though espesh now on my new horse coz he has a huge jump nd weve been havin loads ov problems with fillers. but hes gettin there nd were goin to our 1st show 2moz nite :)

he looks like he really enjoyed himself yeah he has his ears forward all da way round lol

    good luck wiv him :)

  • My trainer was shouting come on a lot too but it was at me and not Magnum. I was really pleased with yesterday. You can tell Magnum was loving it because a photographer took our picture as we jumped the first and his ears are pricked forward and you can just tell he was enjoying himself.

  • haha its ok :)

ur right though i get nervous before classs. im goin 2 my 1st show on my horse on wed. weve been havin loads ov problems recently nd im nervous now nd its monday lol

  • I think you two are a very good team! how long have you been jumping?

  • i wldnt say u wrnt very good :) nd i dnt pick up on faults coz i dnt see da point as u probs no already and r tryin to improve. we all have problems im a prime example lol.

only one thing id like to say coz i used to do it and now i can see how its unfair i thought i heard u shouting at the pony wen he broke into trot. that wasnt his fault. he looks really honest how big is he. he looks sooo much like my old pony ginger its scary. i thought it was till i saw his name was magnum lol

  • hey, I yell at my horse A LOT on xc at events when I know it wasn't his fault but at shows sometimes you just can't help it. I get so nervous on xc, at my last event cuz I has have a hard time breathing for the whole four minutes on the coarse, I crossed the finish line and nearly threw up! I think she just did it out of nerves, not at all trying to be mean.

  • i no i ur not. i wsnt trying to be mean and im sorry if it came across that way coz i hate people that comment nasty things. i do it so i wsnt judging anyone as soon as i pressed post comment i realised i hadnt deleted it lol. does the rest of my comment sound like im a mean person?

  • no not at all! I know you weren't trying to be mean, I was kinda being an idiot and acting like a know it all. lol sry.
