  • What a wonderful IGB video. Living in small-town Maine, this was very touching, as I could relate to what Catie was saying. And they were both very down-to-earth and articulate.

And what the older daughter said..."No more mean talk about kissing." Just beautiful. It's amazing how often five-year-olds will speak truths we all so desperately need to hear.

Lastly, love the little bit of Catie's song...gonna have to check it out.

  • Of course a gay person's life is the same as a straight person's. I mean I'm a lesbian and I go to the supermarket, I read books, I get coffee at Tim Horton's. I mean really what does a straight homophobic bigot thing lesbians and gays do all day?

  • a nice couple of lesbians there. is a 3 way completely out of the question??

  • god love you ,i'll be your bodygard punching people who dislike lesbian . you are sexxy

  • Thank you. Truly, thank you.

I think you just saved my life.

  • Catie i love your hair! very random yess, but it just looks really cool wavy like that : )

  • Catie: You are such a gift!!! Thanks for this video. I miss mole at the Red Igunia in SLC with you. I hope you will come back and play for us soon! Perhaps you can bring the family next time. Liz: You married a superstar!

  • Beautiful video. I'm about to graduate college and being a teacher has been my dream forever. But I have a lot of fear around doing that. It means so much to me to hear Liz's story and know that it is possible.

When you first started teaching, were you out to other teachers? Your students? What about when you were trying to get hired? I've been feeling really limited by being gay lately. Thanks for showing me that anything is possible.

  • Thanks you for this, both of you. Catie, you were great last night in Green Lake WI come again soon. We heard you some ten years ago in Detriot...thanks and blessings on your both.

  • Been listening to CC since I was a freshman in college in 1996. So much has changed since then, but not CC's music in my life. Seeing this is really neat.
