Karen isn't that powerful of a character. I'm directing the last act for a class and really can't figure her out at all. But I do think Alicia is way too pretty to play her.

Alicia's face is deformed and lacks symmetry. Alicia acts impulsive and aggressive, and those are characteristics of defective genes. A face that lacks symmetry is the leading indicator that someone contains genetic defects. It wouldn't surprise me if Alicia's mother drank, smoked, did drugs, or all of the above during her pregnancy with Alicia.
