Do you guys have any idea how lucky you are? Whenever I try to catch a Gastly at that point of the game, I can bring it to near death, and he'll STILL break out of my Poke Balls most of the time. I usually have to resort to the Great Balls. :(

Also, you lose some money if you run out of Pokemon. It used to be half of your money in RBY, but it's nowhere near that much nowadays.
