i have a queen red ant (i dont know what kind of ant) it has wings and i know its female bcuz its head is big and has big butt. will she lay eggs or not bcuz she has wings. please help

should i move my freshly caught queen or a nupital flight queen into my new ant nest? im also adding an outworld. i will try to post a video response of my new queen and her colony. and by the way about how fast do orders take to be shipped

You can move her directly into her nest, yes. It may help to add a little bit of sand in the nest to help her dig a little. Be sure to add the sand little by little while the nest is in a vertical upright position so not to get dust on the glass. It may help to add wet sand. Sand comes with the kit. Shipment can take anywhere between 5 - 14 days once the order is shipped.

Great! Congratulations on catching your first queen. Age 12 is an excellent age for starting ant keeping. 12 is an age where one is old enough to appreciate and grasp the the many interesting facets of ants and their lives, and is a good time to develop a good sense of responsibility.
