  • OMG the first keyboards keys sound so loude and they press hard because you press them in the middle where the other keys are meeting!Im using logitech ultra flat, and its totaly fine!

  • stop fingering this keyboard now!!! just stop!

  • i have a problem with my keyboard it's the same one as the second one in the video. spacebar is fucking on me i have to click that little thingy below the button because space bar isn't working as it used to before cleaning the keyboard. help

  • i agree that the second keyboard is of better quality BUT your comparison was not fair. On the first keyboard most of the time you pressed the center of 4 buttons making all four buttons click and produce more noise when comparing to the second keyboard where you GENTLY press a single key !

  • Is it mechanical or scissors switch.

  • Thanks for this video. I've just bought UltraXPremium, and I agree with general conclusion - it's great.

  • Thanks bildrcz. I think low noise and crisp feel is a necessity for a keyboard (and an overlooked factor compared to processor speed, amount of RAM etc.). I'll give the UltraX a look.

  • UltraX is the the strongest logitech keyboard ! you can even kick it and it will be alive : )

  • damn your microphone is loud. although good comparison.. but where they both new?

  • For those having problem with this keyboard what you need to do is clean it. However it takes along time to do, just a warning. Did it today and took me three hours almost. But considering I have used it for four years without doping it that is acceptable I quess. How you do it is first remove the key with a small flat screwdriver inserted from the top. Then remove the plastic "springs" and the metal rods(from the large keys like enter, space, backspace etc). After this, be sure to... cont.

  • @papa1980 ...remove the "fluffy plastic thingy" that register keypresses. I didn't at first and lost two of them when I vacuumcleaned the keyboard. Putting everything back together takes alot of patience though especially the large keys are very tricky to get back. After all of this the keyboard will work flawlessly like brand new. Could buy a new one also ofc but I like to try and not be wasteful. Better then throwing it away and some poor schmuck in India have to recycle our electronic waste.

  • i co to ma byc jakiekkolwiek porownanie? Dzwiek jaki wydaja klawisze przy wciskaniu? (xD)

  • thx for posting this - looks like the older models are superior to their newer counterparts ....

  • @strouze Tell me about it...

I have a Ultra-X Flat that I've had since release and loved everysecond of it until someone ruined it and burned all the aroow keys, left and right alt and ctrl keys and NUM0 key.

The Illuminated which SHOULD be superior has enormous cancer problems with Shift+Space+W.

I've had four of them and ALL of them failed this simple test...

  • What about space bar - if you' re pressing edges with your finger, does it work fine or space bar bends right down and you must go more to center ?

  • Wow, I think I will order it right now.

  • My Ultra Flat has no such problem (brand new), but I don't intend to use it as my main keyboard. It doesn't seem practical in the long term, due to the placing of function keys like Page Down, Delete, and such.

  • lol I like this video.

  • I have the Ultra Flat. The space bar is shocking and it means that I am going to have to order a new one - I just cannot live with it.

    Pete

  • The keys on mine are great. Well all excpet the space bar which feels so soft and with no travel whatsoever.

Do they all feel like that?

  • i dont know which keyboard are you talking about, but mine ultra flat is terrible. if you dont press key right in the middle then it goes very dysfluently plus makes queer noise, as you can see. ultra x definitely doesnt do this. i just want to show giant quality difference between two same-brand and same-price keyboards.

  • I got an expensive logitech, only to have keys be stuck if you don't press exactly on the middle (from new), and be hella noisy.

  • yeah we all know u want 2 use it

but u still got to take care of it

  • u dont know how 2 take care of your ultra flat

    mine is still great

  • i don't want to take care of keyboard, a want to use it.

  • exactly it must withstand the test of time.

  • dude your ultra flat is phucked! i have one and its great

  • must be something wrong with your ultra flat because mine is perfectly fine.

  • Thanks, this helped me a lot deciding which one I'm going to take :)

  • I have the ultra flat and my keys are fine..

  • which one do u like better?

    Thanx

  • how you can see, the ultra flat (the first one) is realy poor quality keyboard, unusable for long-text writing. the ultra premium is heavier, much better full-size keyboard. i think one of the best flat keyboards in market today.

  • which one was the one without the sound, the ultra flat or the premium?

  • the first one is ultra flat, the second is ultra X premium

  • what's the price for the UltraX ?

  • not much, both costs about 25€

  • thx :)
