man....his breaking pitches would give me chills if i was batting against hoim, top that off with a fastball in the mid 90s ...and dang,,, this guy will be in the running for rookie of the year at thiss rate....heck, he may be in discussion for the cy young over the ar future if he keeps up this kind of performance
You need to amend your statement when you said he was the 1st rookie ever to beat the Red Sox and Yankees in back to back starts. He was the first National League rookie to achieve the feat. Not overall. (I have been a huge Braves fan since 1980 when I was 3. I watched every one of Hanson's starts. Don Sutton was the one that pointed out the feat.)
