  • Just because you keep your pain killers in a high cupboard doesn't mean everyone does. A lot of grandparents keep a cocktail of drugs on the bedside cabinet.

As for the cupboard under the sink - put a child catch on it.

Its not Health and Safety gone mad, its common sense.

  • 2:21-2:23 is like the funniest part of any video i have ever seen!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and also, i loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee this it's all so true and you did your research. good job. :)

  • Wow this is so true. I can't beleive I never thought of this before!

  • where do we keep it? under the fridge! :P think you mean under the sink :)

  • Excellent!

  • I love how you stand with your hands on your pocket. :)

  • I love your hair!

  • The fact that you are left handed makes you even cuter ^^

  • Watching you ramble exhasperatedly makes me smile whislt doing homework:L

  • I have a really shitty back, and i'm also somewhat clumsy, especially when in pain, so i have a tendency to drop whatever pills i'm trying to take, but i have discovered that as long as you don't mind your knees hurting, you can just slam yourself down to a kneeling position. and then you can reach the pills. yeah.

  • My Dad taught me how to undo the child lock when I was about five because he was pissed off at always having to open the medicine bottles for me.

  • why do you always flip the videos horizantaly

  • Press and turn isn't complicated, but I still have to open the bottles for my mum :3

  • natural selection lol

  • Natural selection strikes again XD

  • From observing your Video you are saying that your parents are irresponsible for leaving dangerous items under the sink, in arms reach of children, thus allowing a child to drink bleach or swallow tablets.

Adults know the dangers of bleach and medication.. children don't, that’s why companies put these control measure in place for the reason as you have demonstrated in your video irresponsible parentsleaving dangerous items under the sink, in arms reach of their children.

  • You look a lot taller in this video. Just saying.

  • Haha, nostalgia watching this video. I remember when my youngest sister was a baby she was obsessed with the cabinet under the sink, which is where my parents kept all the cleaning supplies as well. But instead of moving the chemicals somewhere else, my parents were always reminding us to keep an eye on her, which made her first years of life Hell for us, trying to keep up with her. Surely, it would have been easier just to move the chemicals up somewhere lol

  • I remember my mother telling me story about when I was young that one day she was having problems opening a medicine bottle that I walked up and told her I can do that. She thought what harm could it do I couldn't open the bottle, so she gave me the bottle and in seconds had opened the bottle and had given it back to her. So much for child proof caps.

  • haha this was absolutely hilarious <3 youare so funny. And you are right. it is really dumb to have a child proof cap. my mom broke her arm and she needed to take her pain pills but they have a child safety cap and because she only had one working arm she couldnt open it. it was soooo dumb!

  • and most kids cant even swallow pills at all!

  • oh my gosh, 2:23 is so adorable :) Completely true, what you're saying :) xx

  • Ahh, I remember the star ratings. Good times, good times.

"...Then we'll just put that down to natural selection." Brilliant. xD

  • Omg I remember trying to open cough medication and I couldn't open it D: it was so annoying!!! Dx it took me till my hand started to hurt Dx

  • Um yeah I get really bad headaches and they get so bad I sometimes have a hard time seeing. So what does that tell ya. I so agree with ya :D

  • How can you NOT favorite this?! HE HAS A BRITISH ACCENT FOR FUCK SAKE! :D

  • i totally agree

anyway, bleach and other things kept under the sink are more toxic to children than ibuprofen

ibuprofen (usually drugs measured in mg but not all) have this wide range of overdose which mean that taking 3 or 5 or 10 in a day wont necessarily mean that it'll overdose u

    @Gazemottle

Ibuprofen don't have aspirin content but both are NSAID

Aspirin has an anti-platelet effect (Decreases platelet count - may cause bleeding esp. in children who has urticaria or flu)

  • Comment removed

  • LOL! wrist pain is a bitch. bt hey, we hav detol in nz too, jez man like its a life saver.

  • btw Ibuprofen contains asprin that causes some children (under 12) to go into anaphylactic shock. There isn't a way of discovering which children will be affected bar the children actually taking the asprin. So although on the bottle it says that you will overdose on ten capsules for some children if they had just one they'd be likely to die. In this respect it could be argued that ibuprofen would be significantly more dangerous than dettol to children.

  • @Gazemottle Have you ever heard of nurofen for kids? It's no different to the stuff that he had in the video. You have to be pretty sick already to bleed internally from ibuprofen. Here's what would happen if a healthy person drank flash floor cleaner (Which doesn't have a safety cap) You couldn't breathe. You'd have severe liver/kidney failure. You would vomit blood. You would suffer minor brain/heart damage. Yeah, Possible Death vs A trip to the Doctor for some medicine. Hmmm...

  • @pronouncingvariables

Okay. In the future I'll remember not to base medical advice on episodes of Casualty I saw 5 years ago. :)

  • i love your videos!!!! where are you from?! x

  • u look ill bbz

  • lol u're paranoid xD

  • It really irritates me when people say pacificly. SPecifically :S besides that - lol

Dettol protects. Fact. Apart from when you eat it.

  • Dis is de cupboard dat I was talking about XD I love your voice! <3

  • I'm a teenager and I can't open the stupid caps on pain killers :( Good point on the sink thing... I'll have to think about that.

  • Many good points. Though the kitten box-part was kind of...distrubing...Very amusing cries of pain, I must say. And, congratulations, facebook is closed and the homework-distraction-bringer has become this channel. ...Only now do I realize how creepy that must sound...

  • get a belt

  • First, HE HAS NUTELLA!!!

Second, it's better to keep pain killers in a high cupboard with a bad back than a low cupboard - that would be cruel :)

  • hahah work their way through the complected *opens bottle no problem* safety mechanism...this ones broken........oh dear. i love you XD

  • Your use of irony was deserving of a standing ovasion.

  • @CaptainSchnapps Oh my goodness, I did the same thing when I was little too!

  • wow i never thought of that! good thing there aren't small children in my family O.o

  • Stand closer to the cupboard or get a ladder if you cant reach the it.

  • natural selection lol

  • my mum keeps the bleach, painkillers, and candies in the bottom drawers.

  • LOL! natural selection. :P

  • When I was 2 or three I OD'd on children's cough medicine. My family kept it in the cupboard over the counter but I got it down, opened it, and drank all of the pretty purple liquid. My mom found me later with an almost empty pint of medicine looking dazed. I had to go to the hospital and eat charcoal to soak up the medicine. Sort of brings a whole new meaning to the term "Purple Haze"

  • Maybe its because they want children to avoid pills in general, including ibuprofen, just in case an older sibling has a potentially dangerous to children pill problem? Like, kids would be confused if they can have advil but not ecstacy that they found in their sister's room. They wouldn't see the difference. So we just teach them that all pills are dangerous and should be hidden and locked and password protected. just a thought =]

  • Ahh yes, when I was 4 I thought a bottle of bleach was Mt. Dew luckily my mom stopped me, my parents have kept the chemicals up high in in the cabinets scince then xD

  • You're such a cutie!

Also, we've always kept all the dangerous chemicals and such on a high shelf in the linen closet. And our pills are in drawers in the bathroom, so they're lower down. Problems solved!

  • that is actually really true

i never really thought about it that way :D

  • i think im in luuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuv....with a boy in a red jumper and with awsome hair

  • Magical things to kill a child ...... lmao so wonderfully put there

  • I almost drank out of a bottle of toiet bowl cleaner when I was a little kid. You know the ones with the bent nozzel things to fit around the rim of the bowl. I remember my thinking that it looked like something from a sub shop that I saw once and I just took it and almost drank it. luckily my babysitter caught me just in time.

  • Spot on when you are talking about bleech. I read that a 3 year old drank a full bottle of drain cleaner once

  • Rat poison.

  • Girls can like guns too >:l

    At least I do.

  • wrist pains did you say? over share.

  • HAHA one of my friends filled a spray bottle that was filled with window cleaner after he cleaned it and ran around his house spraying it into his mouth while his mom was watching and she was screaming and crying XD then he told her and she was PISSED

  • you would be a great dad :]

  • 4:44 FAIL :D

  • good thing, it's not so hard to get painkillers out of their box in germany :D otherwise i'd already be dead!

and good thing, you can lock the cupboard under our sink...

  • xD nice one, James ))

Love the way you think ))

  • I wouldn't have normally rated.. but I like kittens! Haha. :D

  • Oh wow! You know, I didn't notice my back was hurting untill you mentioned it...now I have to go get MY pain killer. Haha, anyways, nice, funny video! Too true, too true...

  • why not put it in a medicine cabinet in the bathroom that way if a child where to go to the bathroom to reach for pills they would be distracted by the mirror lol :)

  • mail me that sweater and i'll fix that hole for you. lol

    and i love your hair.

  • 'a trigger like their toy gun' not forgetting it's called flash-like their favourite superhero :)

  • Nice underpants ;O

  • i truely would love to see a kid going "apeshit" over flash.

  • i love this video i love your voice i love your hair i love you!!!!!

  • @Imarandombetch stalker......

  • @emogothfaerie im not a stalker. ):

  • @Imarandombetch don't get your knickers in a twist, 'twas only a joke...

  • My bleaches are under the sink too.

  • under the fridge?????

  • James, I'm sorry to hear that you're sometimes in so much pain it's difficult for you to open a bottle of Ibuprofen. You're too young to remember this, but there was a time, at least here in the U.S., when people generally used aspirin and acetaminophen for common aches and pains. Both of these drugs are dangerous, even deadly, if you overdose on them. The childproof caps that you find so annoying date back to the day when people relied more on these potentially toxic medicaions.

  • your doin pretty good here

    keep it up

  • So true

  • ...:3

  • I fucking love you, you funny little critter.

  • lol wow thats so true! i have all type of chemicals underneath the sink! lol i loved your sobbing made me crack up!

  • so true i never thought of that

  • Ahh I never thought of that :0

  • this is wonderful haha. i love your hair.
